Old Buck Owens Tune "Cryin' Time" . Don't know how many of you heard Kurkjiaan comment on the home runs hit by the Yankees. Another inference of "cheap" home runs at the Stadium. Read Prices comments, when they bat (Yankees) the walls move in, when the Bostons batted, the walls moved out. God Damn I may be wrong but the Bostons actually ended up with one more inning to bat than the Yankees. Problem is they just didn't get it done. This team with the two notable S&S excepted came out to play ball last night. Grabbed the bull by the ass and got stuff done. Shef was a little scary at the end. How'd ya like to tell your grand kids about that first game retiring the pending ALMVP on a double play. I'd like to see the Yankees sweep the series than have Boston run into a shit storm in Cleveland just to make things interesting.

Reviewing social media on last night's game, I have never seen so much bullshit Boston fans whining and crying about the Yankee Stadium right field dimensions.

As if they did not play in The same stadium last night. As if they did not have the opportunities. As if BeanWay is not a little league park, with the green monster joke, and its overall ridiculous design.

These are one of many reasons I despise Bostonian jackass fans...

Cutch & Judge are patient enough to reach base via walks if they don't hit. Hicks is fine where he is. Andujar should bat clean up instead of the perpetual fanner Stanton.

Yep, just went up. Game hasn't even started yet and Costas & Kaat are crying about Yankee Stadium. Add Yerducci and Ryan Dumpster and this MLB Crew is as bad as any ESPN Crew.

Gian-K-arlo batting 4-th, :smiley-pat: will bonehead ever wake up?
    Unlikely...

I would give him 2 AB's, either 2 BB's or 1 Hit + a 2nd AB moving RISP. Anything less pull him. The bat boy could strike out as well as Stanton.

Stanton's batting average over the last 7 games is .154, over the last 15 games is batting average is .136 with 25 strikeouts and 69 at bats....

Bird could do. better, anyone could do better.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if this was a start of another nine-game winning streak. Picking up steam at just the right time going into the postseason. The way happy Severino and Tanaka have been pitching who knows what these guys can do. As long as they remain aggressive and put the wood on the leather....

As Vic says- "Swaaang the bat"...

...Tanaka dodged a bullet...30 pitches in the 1st inning...could have been a whole lot worse.

McCutchen thrown out at second, looks to me like he started to slide 5 feet too early

Let's see if Tanaka settles down......doesn't look it......
second and third with 2 outs.....now, their best hitter. Mookie Betts

key to game right here.........Japanese and Spanish conference......
Betts bests Tanaka 3-0 Yankees are down.

Betts is all over Tanaka. Why throw a fastball to him?
