Taylor runs wild as Arizona thrashes Oregon State, 35-14

After an explosive game, Arizona running back J.J. Taylor was asked what was working well for him.

"The offensive line," he responded, then chuckled. "All the stuff that we do at practice just showed up today."

Taylor rushed for a Reser Stadium-record 284 yards and two touchdowns, including a 62-yard sprint, as Arizona ran wild over Oregon State 35-14 in the Pac-12 opener on Saturday afternoon.

Browning shines as No. 11 Washington routs No. 20 BYU 35-7

Standing behind a podium and facing a bank of television cameras, Washington quarterback Jake Browning was uncomfortable for the first time all night.

    "This is weird," Browning said.

He looked completely at ease while picking apart BYU in one of the finest passing performances in Washington's rich QB history.

Browning completed 23 of 25 passes for 277 yards and one touchdown , and No. 11 Washington was thoroughly dominant on both sides in a 35-7 rout of No. 20 BYU on Saturday night.

Utah beats No. 14 Stanford 40-21 as injured Love sits out

Jaylon Johnson returned an interception 100 yards for a touchdown and Zack Moss ran for two scores, leading Utah to a 40-21 victory over No. 14 Stanford on Saturday night.

Stanford beats Arizona State 20-13 for key road victory

Stanford controlled the ball on offense, prevented big plays on defense. The Cardinal put together a couple of key scoring drives and limited Arizona State's chances for a comeback.

It's just the way Stanford wins game -- and just what the Cardinal needed after a two-game losing streak.

K.J. Costello threw for 231 yards and a touchdown, and Stanford remained in the thick of the Pac-12 North Division race with a 20-13 win over Arizona State on Thursday night.

Laird has 3 TDs runs in 49-7 Cal win over Oregon State

California held a players-only meeting on the eve of their game against Oregon State.

The Golden Bears were still searching for their first conference win and had slumped with three straight losses.

Seniors talked about how much the season meant to them, said defensive end Tevin Paul. The players took the talk to heart.

Patrick Laird ran for 193 yards and two touchdowns, and also caught a scoring pass, and California snapped a three-game losing streak with a 49-7 victory at Oregon State on Saturday.

Utah dominates USC 41-28 to take lead in the Pac-12 South

Uh-oh Pac-12, has Utah found an offense to compliment a dominating defense and special teams? For the third straight games, and the first time since 2004, Utah has score 40 points in three straight games, nd this time is was against Stanford, Arizona and USC. The score doesn’t even begin to show how dominating Utah was in this game. Utah gifted USC 21 of their points, including 14 points to open the game where Utah was in a 14-0 hole. From that point on it was all Utes.

Utah finished the game with a 541 yard to 205 yard advantage, with Tyler Huntley being lethal going for 341 yards, 4 touchdowns on 22 of 29 passing. It was rough sledding in the run game to open things up, but Huntley was there to make serious plays, many jaw dropping. He sliced up USC all game long, and when Utah scored a late TD to many make things a bit interesting, Huntley hit Dixon for a 50 yard bomb that was essentially the back breaker. Once Huntley had USC punch drunk, Zack Moss asserted himself with 136 yards on 25 carries. Throughout the second half Moss was slashing USC, as the Trojans were basically tapping out at that point. Utah’s receiving corps and tight ends had one heck of a game as well. Samson Nacua had 55 yards, Covey had 79 and a touchdown, that got Utah rolling, Brant Kuithe had 4 catches for 68 yards, Jaylen Dixon 56, Demari Simpkins had 24 yards and a dart of a touchdown catch, and Solomon Enis had a touchdown after a perfectly executed free play after USC jumped into the neutral zone. Utah attached USC in all phases of the game tonight.

Wilkins, Harry lead Sun Devils past No. 16 Utah 38-20

Arizona State's Manny Wilkins, N'Keal Harry and Eno Benjamin shredded the No. 1-ranked defense in the Pac-12 and in the process threw the Pac-12 South race into a free-for-all.

On an awful Saturday afternoon in the desert, No. 16 Utah lost sole possession of first place in the Pac-12 South and, worse yet, lost starting quarterback Tyler Huntley with a broken collarbone.

Wilkins and Harry connected for three touchdowns and Benjamin ran for two more in Arizona State's 38-20 victory.
