We are really playing at our pace right now. The Jazz will hopefully get tired toward the end of the game and we can take advange.Right now the score isJazz-41Warriors-35

Wow, COMPLETE opposite of the Houston series. If Utah wants to win, they will need to slow down the game. Right now the game is too fast. They won't trie out like someone else suggested, but if they have a cold stretch and Golden State happens to catch fire, it will be a double digit lead in the blink of an eye.

Yep this is proving that the mavs didn't choke. The Warriors are that good. They've been on fire since March 2nd. The Jazz even have a low post prescence as well as more favorable matchups and still Golden State is in the lead on the road.

The Mavs and their most well balanced team in the NBA still choked a fat one. Utah will be more competitive in this series than Dallas was.

I won't, we went into the playoffs with Championship on the mind. And they are out 1st round. Warriors beating Jazz is supposed to make Mavs fans relieved they were beaten by them?

Golden State is playing good basketball right now. I think that they would have lost to Houston, but I sincerley believe they have a decent chance to beat the Jazz.....If they have to meet the Spurs though, you can say goodbye to Golden State.

Sloan is a better coach than Van Gundy2. Yao is 100% worthless most of the time against the run and gun while Utah showed that they could at least keep up vs. the Suns.3. Houston had only 2-3 players contributing last series and that won't win anything for you even with McGrady, especially when Yao would be worse. If GS wins this I see them taking it in 7, possibly 6. I thought it would be a tough match-up for either team.

Losing in the first round to an 8th seed in 6 games is embaressing. Not to mention that that Mavs had their chances in game 4, which theoretically would have brought them back home for a game 7.

^1. Coaching doesn't matter....Look at Avery Johnson. He was the "coach of the year" last season and he got taken down by Nelson who is a far worse coach.2. Much like Tim Duncan, Yao Ming would DOMINATE this Golden State team. Golden States biggest starter is Al Harrington when Biedrens isnt in the lineup, and how on earth would you expect anybody to stop him? He is too big and too strong for anybody on that team to handle.3. Houston is one of the best, if not the best (besides SA) defensive ball clubs in the league. They give up the 1st or 2nd fewest points by any team in the league, they have a great perimeter defender in battier, a big man in the middle who makes things difficult, a hustler in Hayes, and T-Mac can defend as well...

The Warriors would explit Yao so abdly defensively it isn't even funny. Yao doesn't have the stamina to go more than 35MPG or so, and with the way the Warriors play it'd be even harder for him. The Warriors small players would give him a lot of trouble (especially since Yao is clumsy and one of the most turnover prone big men in NBA history).<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>3. They appear to be because of the tempo they play at forces teams to play in the halfcourt set. But in this series, with the impatient PG in Alston and gunners like Head, it would be an up and down game and Rockets would be exposed defensively like they were vs the Jazz. They are not nearly as disciplined as the Spurs are, and couldn't keep the game in a halfcourt set (for proof, check out Rockets vs Suns games).

Coaching does matter, trust me, D'Antoni gets outcoached regularly in the playoffs and we lose. [IMG] Avery was outcoached because he hasn't even been coaching for 3 years. He's very inexperienced going up against one of his teachers and the teacher always wins in those early match-ups. Sloan is very experienced and a great coach. He won't be outcoached like Avery was.I already said, Yao wouldn't be able to keep up most of the time and so he wouldn't be as much of a factor. He'd be held probably about 5 points under his average and he'd be too slow to do much on D. I could see Nelson's team keeping the tempo up against Van Gundy so I just don't think their defense would do much.

This is a very good game right now. Every time one team starts to get some momentum, the other team makes a shot to halt the momentum. This is such a fun game to watch right now. 109-107, the pace was a little out of control, but the Jazz are hanging in right now and winning.Deron Williams offensively is playing outstanding, attacking the rim, making the 20 footer with some consistency this game. He is really playing well. Okur has been shooting well. Boozer is playing well, has a double double right now and Harpring is playing well. Dee Brown off the bench has done a good job. Al Harrington is playing very well for Golden State, and so is Baron Davis. The whole starting five is doing well for them.

I don't know why, but I'm rooting for the Jazz in this series.... well now that they won I can make my prediction. I said whoever wins this wins in 7 so Jazz in 7.

I'm actually really encouraged after this game. You know why? Deron Williams, Carlos Boozer, AK47, and Okur all had their A game on, Utah dominated the boards, they got good help from Dee Brown, Jackson and Davis both had off games..... and Utah still only won by 4 and couldn't control the pace.

HELL YEAH!!!!!! THAT was one of the funnest games I have been to ever. the whole tempo rocked, though the Jazz wont be able to play that way all series. but man it was fun just seeing offense. plus the Jazz showed up, everyone except Millsap who was straddled with fouls.

I saw the 1st quarter, but I had to go to sleep after that because it was 12:15 and I can't go to sleep any later than that on a school night or I won't be able to get up....I liked what the Jazz were doing. When I was watching Carlos Boozer wasn't that active; it was Mehmet Okur who was scoring all the points. He hit 2 threes, and he had one nice post up move...Deron Williams was passing the ball out very well, and scoring on the offensive end too..The Jazz were really sharing the ball well, whereas the Warriors were just playing catch and shoot basketball. They took a lot of tough looks, and the only one that was scoring consistently was Al Harrington. He was money from behind the arc, even in his contested shots. He had a really good offensive 1st quarter. Andris Biedrins was also a force on the defensive end...

Boozer had 10 O boards alone. that said, can it be said that the Warriors have just as bad a defense as Phoenix?

I saw a few rebounds for Boozer on him going over the back, but the fact is he still dominated and owned the glass. We might take the next game, if we can get J-Rich back on track and get more rebounds.

And also, Pietrus should not have played a single minute today. His minutes should have gone to Azubuike and Ellis.Jackson was getting hammered down low as well, tons of no calls when he goes to the hoop, but when he goes to for a loose ball, it's a foul. Biedrins stood still all night and people jumped away from him, and it's foul. And the clear path foul...... God.Dee Brown also impressed me. We will have a significant edge once Fisher comes back.
