Anyone want to do one of those "re-do the 2017 draft" things? Only the more accurate way to put it would be "rank the players taken in the 2017 draft as they are right now" because if you ACTUALLY re-did the draft, you would have to take into account team needs, and who cares. Here it is:

Biggest riser (other than maybe someone undrafted): Flint's own Monte Morris.
    Biggest faller: Josh Jackson?

I think it was a podcast with @BonesJones that I went on saying I thought D-Fox was the my darkhorse for best player or something like that even thought Fultz would go #1. Not sure if it was that one or not. In one of them I had Fultz at #5 as far as future ranking but can't remember which. Maybe Bones has the archive somewhere.

I was saying that Tatum was the best player in the draft and that Donovan Mitchell could put up 19-20ppg as a rookie in Utah. Safe to say, I was spot on.

Anyone know how to get a ranking of all 2017 draftees by various stats, like PER or whatever?

    Monte Morris...?

Nah. Dillon Brooks, Kyle Kuzma, or Jordan Bell.

I think Mitchell was / is the best player in that draft, but time will tell. Still pretty accurate though.

Pick number 10 will end up having the best career.

Really hard to rank. Just not enough of a sample. But I'd have Zach as a top 10 guy still.

Very interested to see what a 23 year old Zach Collins will look like...

I was all about Jordan Bell.

Biggie is really starting to feel like a Nolan Smith pick.

Me too, but Bell will be a player that looks a lot better next to 4 all stars then he will on most teams. He plays the role they need well, not trying to give him crap.

Brooks, Bell and Morris look like steals in the second round.

Toronto picked very well again in late first with OG Anunoby (I like how they built second unit with late firsts and undrafted players).

Between 11 and 20 everyone bar Mitchell and Collins, maybe Adebayo, has struggled. Monk has been a big disappointment so far.

Don't understamd why Olshey didn't go after Dillon Brooks. Wouldn't have had to go after Trent Jr. the next draft and saved us two draft picks.

Well, Bell isn't looking so great this season. I read somewhere that Kerr had lost faith in him. With the departure of McGee he was supposed to slide into a starting role, but if anything his minutes have declined.

He seems to be one of the ones to make the biggest leap. We were all whining about him last year, but this year he's just night and day. Meanwhile the breakout stars last year look about the same - no giant improvements. (And Tatum's shooting isn't as good as it was.)
