I would hope that we can make fun of him without making comments like this. My nephew has a learning disability, and I have other family members with learning disabilities, and that doesn't really seem like something to joke about.

Interesting that the city of Moron in the outskirts of Mongolia was found it was much like Timbuktu in Africa considered the last outpost of modern contact in Mongolia...the people were called Morons because they had never done "modern" things like watch tv......actually the joke is on us...they are the enlightened ones....to call someone a Moron actually means they're nomadic tribal Mongolians who trade in the city Moron...never should have become a derogatory word

There were still people who believed that Charles Manson was a wise and honest man too.

I always have used the following definition (I forget where I found it) to be very helpful when assigning the proper terminology to those who, to put it gently, march to a different drummer.......

“More intelligent than idiots and imbeciles, morons were especially troublesome because they could pass as normal.”

Here's the thing I think some people miss out on. The world is not black and white, there are many shades of grey. So while Fez and I may agree that Captain Bone Spurs might be the biggest insufferable boob to ever grace the office of the Presidency, it doesn't mean that everything I say he will agree with, and vice versa. And just because he used a joke/made a reference to something I find to be in poor taste, it doesn't mean I'm now "turning on him" or turning him on. Well, I can't speak for the latter, I don't know what gets his Evinrude revving.

Anyway, while politically I tend to disagree with Marazul (or at least, the versions of the story that he believes to be the truth), I don't think he is therefore immature or not worthy of carrying on an adult conversation with. And there are things that he says or believes in that I agree with. Plus I greatly admire Marazuls' boat/workmanship.

I remember what it was like to be young, and kind of a hot head. I chalk a lot of the crap from this thread to hot-headedness.

    Another wonderful trumpism:

    Donald J. Trump‏Verified account@realDonaldTrump 5h5 hours ago
    More
“Democrats can’t find a Smocking Gun tying the Trump campaign to Russia after James Comey’s testimony. No Smocking Gun...No Collusion.” @FoxNews That’s because there was NO COLLUSION. So now the Dems go to a simple private transaction, wrongly call it a campaign contribution,...

Not once, but twice. That's not a typo, that's stupidity. :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:
