Celtics already have 4 1st round picks in the 2019 draft.

Blazers making a small move or a minor trade. Can't say I'm surprised. They will probably have a small winning streak going and Neil won't want to mess with the chemistry only to see them get another first round exit.

Bulls trade Bobby Portis to Hornets for:

    Someone, maybe Dwayne Bacon

    Add sweetener as needed.

Well heck if the Bulls are going to give Portis away the Blazers should get him. He'd be perfect with Nurk and Collins.

I think Neil makes a move. I usually never believe anything will happen but my gut says he will. I’m surprised he hasn’t yet actually and believe people he likes/trusts have let him know he needs to do something.

I’d honestly be happy with just finding a decent bench piece, that’s where my expectations have fallen to when talking about Portland trades. Seriously though we need to upgrade that bench.

Portis and Felicio to the Jazz for Sefelosha, Bradley, and future 2nds.

Chicago reroutes Sefelosha to the Pelicans for Wesley Johnson and a future 2nd.

My prediction is that Kevin Love will be a member of our Portland Trail Blazers.

I'm not saying it would be a good trade but that is my prediction.

I just can't see how Portland can afford it. Start with Olshey would never trade CJ for Love....isn't that just about certain?

so then, the average annual salaries:

    Love 30.5M
    Dame 30M
    CJ 27.5M
    Nurkic 12M

that's 99.5M for just those 4. That's only 30-40M under the projected tax threshold over the next 2-3 seasons, and Portland would still have to add 10 players

Enes Kanter is a younger, arguably better player who is available to the first decent offer.

But the Knicks don't want to take on contracts to that extend past this season. The Blazers would have a tough time finding the right pieces to get him.

I didn't say it would make sense, ha ha!

I could see a Turner, Aminu, 2019 1st, and some other asset like Simons or Trent type of trade. I just have a funny feeling Olshey is going to get desperate to add another "star" and that Love would be the only realistic option.

Who can only play C (a position were stacked at), and cant space the floor so he's a bad fit, compared to Love who's a PF (a position we could use an upgrade at) and can shoot.

Oh please no to Kevin Love. He isn't a Star anymore, and can't stay on the court even if his Life depends on. BIG FAT NO TO LOVE

I think Blake Griffin would be a great fit here.

For Turner, Aminu, and a 1st?

    I'd do it. They wouldnt.

Yeah, I would think that would be one of Olshey's 1st choices if possible.
