I start out every season looking at schedule and thinking about the possible outcomes. It changes somewhat during the season due to injuries and teams making trades but surprisingly as it may sound it usually comes out as a wash. This season i did not have the Blazers winning as many games as last. At the time i went over the schedule i had them at 44 wins (reduced that to 42 last minute). The Month of January was listed as their most successful month at 9-6. That is giving them 7 wins at home and 2 on the road vs Sac. Thing is i have them losing the Houston game at home on the 2nd of a B2B and winning vs the Thunder but those games are a wash. I also have them losing at Utah and at Denver. You never know in this league "That's why they play the games" rings true.
This is wrong. this has the 9th seed as Sacramento with 21 wins. Their record is 19-17 http://www.espn.com/nba/standings
I don't think so. I think we win both. We will win tonight. If we lose to Denver will take it out on the Kings.
I was actually just about to come find this thread and make the same comment. Hopefully I get the next 3 right and get to .500...
Such a ridiculous schedule the rest of the month. No breaks at all. I really hope Terry starts to manage minutes and injuries. It's OK to let the young guys go and have a game or two to lose.
I’m not just talking WHO we are playing either. I’m talking the travel. We won’t get into your hotels on those travels nights til probably 2:30AM.
The Denver game being at 5pm is helpful. You might get to the hotel in SAC by midnight. The second one is tougher, since the OKC game is earlier due to the time difference. Also, I wonder how the first game of each of those B2B's being at high elevation affects the players on the back-end.
