There is a difference between great restaurants and great American restaurants. One says great food, while the other says iconic....IMO I Think people are just trying to make something out of nothing because he's such a douche
I agree. He paid for it himself, and he used it as a photo op (which is his modus operandi - the 2nd part). There is just such a discord between the pomp he presents and the substance that is causing the discord. Anyway, the man has made the presidency a non-stop reality tv show - it is no surprise that people are going to comment on it all the time.
He just made it easy. If he had it catered and the top of the creme brulee wasn't carmelized enough or the salad fork was where the soup spoon was supposed to go they would have dogged this. My first reaction was....really???? So you know they were going to have a field day. Maybe he'll give a speech saying he is going to nuke Iran but give it with his fly undone. They won't even know what he said.
I don't think anyone is triggered, everything that I've seen has been laughing at the whole thing. If you want to see triggered go look at the people upset over the Gillette ad, now that is some mother fucking triggering. The fast food thing is just most Trump thing ever. "I have to pay for this myself because of the government shutdown? What is the cheapest thing I can buy? I know!"
You ever been around college football players? I assure you that nearly all of them want one thing during a special dinner. They want a good steak dinner. Those Clemson guys are going to go home and realize they've been had.
You know, I was going to take my wife out to a great American restaurant for our anniversary dinner. So, you recommend Burger King, Wendy's or McDonald's?
I question whether Trump did pay for it. He is notorious for saying he paid for things or made charitable donations he didn't. Show the receipt, and tax returns.
Steaks made by catering companys blow big fucking dick. They need to do Lawry's Prime Rib like they do for the Rose Bowl or some shit.
