The Memphis Grizzlies had an embarrassing loss over the weekend to the Houston Rocketswhere they let James Harden score 57 points and were never really in the game in the second half. They came back home for one game against the Milwaukee Bucks before playing a back to back this weekend. They are 1-8 in their last nine games and were looking to get back on the right side of things against a really good Milwaukee Bucks team.

The Grizzlies started off struggling right away and settling for some low percentage shots, mid range, and contested three pointers. They started off the game going 1-7 from the field in the first few minutes and Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a quick 5 points to give the Bucks a early 6 point lead. As the first quarter wore on it didn’t get much better for the home team as they shot just 21% from the field and 16% from three through most of the first quarter. The bench lineup for the Grizzlies was able to do some things and get this Grizzlies team back in the game. JaMychal Green had a huge poster dunk, block, and made three sequence to bring some life back into the FedEx Forum. Omri Casspi and JaMychal Green were the Grizzlies leading scorers at the end of the first with 7 points each as the Bucks led by 8 points.
