Unfortunately, that statement is incorrect. According to Basketball-reference, Nurk only has 32 games with 20+ points as a Blazer, and that is 8th among centers in Blazer history.

I wrote them and attached the link with correct statistic. I assume that there is Nurk euforia, we are small country without many big stars and trophies so probably overeact with praise to somebody who do something well, as is Nurk recently :) additionaly i can tell you that ptb fan base in Bosnia is becoming bigger and bigger, a lot of people watch Nurk and Ptb. I am glad for that.

Everybody loves Nurk here. He's the best center we've had in a LOOOOOOONG time! I think he can be in the top 3 of 20-pt scorers at center for the Blazers by the end of his career.

Wow, what's up with that interviewer? Trying to get Nurk to say the Blazers aren't promoting him enough, and then asking about his contract being a steal and him being severely underpaid? And I thought Canzano was bad...

Fortunately Nurk deflected those loaded questions very well.

on all star: he said that he does not think about that and there are some other circumstances, but he is glad that Bosnia is mentioned in America more often. He said as welll that he does not care much about his individual statistic but more about teams wins because he hate to lose and he loves this city and the club.

On his contract: He said he doesn't think about more money, but must be happy with that what you have and he is happy. Club alreday had big payments and he does not think about that.

On charity - said 'he does not want to mention that' ( he is that kind of man, believe me there are many charity actions by him but he never speak about that)

On his success: said that he plays basketbal since his 14th year old, and when nobody trusted in him, his manager did and thanks to him he is here now. Furthemore he said he wouldn't be good without his teammates, without team spirit and especially DAMIAN LILLARD, who is something BEST that happened to his carrer. He said also 'Lillard happened to me'...

There are also some questions about Bosnian realeted topics but it is not something well interested for you i suppose (internal bosnian bad situation)

On that promotion by Blazers team he said nothing. he just said it is easier to go on all star from multimilions cities and bigger fan base clubs and that he does not think about that. He wants only wins.

The Portland Trail Blazers continue to be one of the few constant teams in the West, celebrating victory 28 of the season against the Pelicans. Decisive factors were once again the good defense and the work on the offensive board.
Over the past ten games, the Trail Blazers are now the fourth-best defensive rating team, most notably coach Terry Stotts. In addition, his boys gathered against the Pelicans strong 18 offensive rebounds, which led to a total of 23 Seconds Chance points.
In addition to the almost usual points-yield of Damian Lillard (24 points, 8/20 FG, 8 assists), especially Jake Layman from the bench to convince. With 20 points, he scratched his previous career high (24) and made sure that Portland could win the duel of the second units with 37:25 for themselves.
In the Pels Nikola Mirotic returned to the team, but still had problems with his shot (13 points, 3/10 FG). Anthony Davis scored 27 points in 9 of 17, but could not prevent the defeat, as did Jrue Holiday (20) and Julius Randle (19, 9 boards).

Portland Trail Blazers (34-23) - Golden State Warriors (41-16) 129:107

    http://m.spox.com/de/sport/ussport/...-ein-kerr-fliegt-giannis-wie-chamberlain.html

Without DeMarcus cousins, Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston, the Warriors traveled north to Portland, but even without this trio, the spectators in the Moda Center were offered a real spectacle. For 48 minutes it was back and forth, no team was able to (decisively) settle for a long time. The game was balanced 16 times, there were 22 changes of leadership.
For Golden State, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant had to carry a huge load, because at Klay Thompson (9, 2/16 FG, 8 assists) the Shooting Guard did not want to fall at all. Only in 2013 fell less for Klay against Sacramento (1/13 FG). Efficient, however, were the ideas of Durant (32, 12/17 FG) from the middle distance was still hot and Curry (32, 10/24 FG), but like the entire Warriors team in the fourth quarter dived.
In the fourth quarter it was the other curry that caused a sensation. Two successful deals by Seth (11) gave Portland the highest lead ever (110: 103), including a drive against his brother. A little later it was heated. After Thompson and Zach Collins had clashed before, Draymond Green conceded a controversial Flagrant-1.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr did not agree with that at all, he knocked his board to the ground and yelled at the referees, the result was of course the ejection. In the midst of all this hustle and bustle, Portland continued to breathe (all free-throws made it an eight-point game!) And was suddenly 15 points ahead after a 3-goal by Jake Layman (17). The thing was eaten quickly, because Layman refilled once again and Damian Lillard from Downtown finally put the lid on it.
Dame scored a total of 29 points with just 15 throws, equal eight players scored at least 10 points. Zach Collins also blocked 3 throws in the fourth quarter, changing the dynamics of the game. The dubs were ultimately rolled over with 35:12 in the final section and hit only 24 percent from the field. Portland, however, threw the ball in the game only four times away.

The Trail Blazers on the Rise - (This Time) More Than a Regular Season Team?

The Portland Trail Blazers have once again established themselves in the top group in the West and are on course for home advantage thanks to five wins in a row. But is this team better than in previous years, where you had no chance in the playoffs? The improved defense could make the difference this time.

It was remarkably quiet in the Celtics' Locker Room after the fourth defeat in the play, this time against the Portland Trail Blazers. Only 92 points scored the hosts, met the whole evening nothing at all, and yet the echo was much quieter than after the losses in Chicago or Toronto.

Celtics coach Brad Stevens did not want to blame his team and even praised the offense of his troupe. But most of all, there was a lot of praise for the opponent: "If you do not score threes against them, it will be difficult, they will defend really tough, are incredibly active and very long," Stevens analyzed after the game.
Since the All-Star Break the Blazers may not have heard this for the first time. On a 7-game road trip, the first four games were all won impressively, including against the heavyweights Boston and Philadelphia and in Brooklyn against another legitimate playoff team. It seems like the story of the past few years is repeated: The Blazers are a legitimate top team in the West, in the full league.

Blazers one of the top teams since the beginning of the year

Since January, only the Warriors, Raptors and Bucks lost fewer games than Portland, the Blazers are second in offense and also good eight in the defense. Only Milwaukee and Toronto are also top 10 in both categories in this period. Terry Stotts' team is now back in fourth place in the West, alongside third-placed Oklahoma City Thunder (38-23). 3-0 in direct duel) in front of them.
That may be a little under the table, since the Blazers have been a constant in the playoff picture for years. The most important components in the team are the same, you know what you get every night from the Blazers. One knows each other and is recorded, which is also shown by the numbers.
The quartet from Damian Lillard, C.J. McCollum, Al-Farouq Aminu and Jusuf Nurkic have played almost one complete half of the field per game, scoring 10.0 points on 100 possessions more than their opponents. This is a board and the absolute peak in the league in quartets that are together on the field for so long.

Obligation of Enes Kanter a coup

So Portland could always allow some lengths with the second unit, and just Nik Stauskas or Meyers Leonard were major weaknesses. Both are now playing no major role, Stauskas was exchanged for Rodney Hood and Leonard and partly also Zach Collins cash DNPs, because the Blazers could secure Enes Kanter on the buyout market.
Boston is said to have had interest in the Turks, the contract was ultimately awarded Portland. "With Kanter, they have another important player who can scorer when it's not working," Stevens praised the center, who played 8 points and 7 rebounds against the Celtics. "This can be important in the playoffs when playing with the second unit and one of the guards (Lillard or McCollum, editor's note)."

However, the numbers do not prove this yet. The ex-Knicks player comes in his four missions so far on a negative net rating of -13, the sample is of course tiny. Just the weak offensive rating (95.6) also indicates that the Blazers are still looking for the right plays for Kanter. The pace also sank massively with the new commitment in the basement.

    Portland: Defense is strong:

Nevertheless, Kanter as another center of enormous importance, since he has his weaknesses in defense, but also always playing hard, which fits perfectly with the style of Blazers. "We're just incredibly physically occupied in the big positions," noted Moe Harkless, who is getting more and more excited after his knee problems at the start of the season.
This also applies to the Defense, which now reminds of past years. There is nothing for Portland. The team makes little losses (12 per game, 2nd place), rarely fights (8th place) and approves little in the zone and also from a distance. So Portland admits the most middle distance throws and for that the fewest three from the corner (only 5.4 per game) - they force thus the correct throws with the opponent.
Interestingly, Portland is less dependent on its star guards. Their quotas and production declined slightly in 2019, especially Lillard has been hitting just 30 percent from a distance for the past two months. The fact that the Blazers are still winning their matches will make those in Oregon satisfied.

"We were physical, always ready, we had fast hands, we let them work for their points," Lillard praised his team after the win in Boston. "If they got an open throw, it was only after three or four extra passes, which cost them strength and made them tired." In fact, Boston only worked 15 open threes, four under the season's average. That only two of them went through the trap and Marcus Morris and Al Horford remained completely cold, was then a little luck.

Blazers: Can they make Some noice in the playoffs?

That will certainly need it in the playoffs. The recipe from a solid defense and the two dynamic Guards from Lillard and McCollum brought in the postseason little success. The pelicans impressively demonstrated in their sweep how to get Portland off balance.
From the wing was too little danger, the trio of Evan Turner, Aminu and Harkless brought too little, especially from a distance. The matchup was very bitter, but also blatantly revealed all its weaknesses - and is still a little on the blazers today.
Also in Boston lacked Firepower (all Blazers without Lillard were 3/23 from Downtown), yet the guests prevailed in the TD Garden, because it was true in the Defense. Whether Portland can maintain this level will be revealed, among other things, on Saturday night when Lillard and Co. compete in Toronto. Also in the episode, the Blazers is waiting for a crisp program with more road trips, it should be the final yardstick for whether Portland is more than just a good regular season team.

It's kind of like trying to make sense out of the gibberish of someone who's had a stroke. The words are there, but not in an order that is readily understandable.
