I doubt they get swept but I don't like their chances against the Spurs. Lebron is good for a game in this series. I got the Spurs in 5. The cavs were getting into the paint at will against Detroit and that isn't likely going to happen against San Antonio. Also it will be very difficult for Cleveland to control the glass against the Spurs. That is taking away too many easy scoring and fast break opportunities away from Cleveland. I expect Lebron to put up huge numbers against the the Spurs but for SA to shut everyone else down just like they did against Denver, Phoenix and Utah.

    By: CelticBalla32</div>

The Cleveland Cavaliers are making their first NBA Finals appearance in their 37 year existence, as they eliminated the Detroit Pistons in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals, 98-82. You'd think that LeBron James would have been the biggest factor offensively, but rookie guard Daniel "Boobie" Gibson had a remarkable night, as he scored 31 points off the bench, hitting all five of his three-point attempts as well as 12 of his 15 free throw attempts. Gibson was very aggressive throughout the night, but he was a completely different player in the 4th quarter, as he went on a surge and dismantled Detroit with his outstanding shooting display from the perimeter.

While James wasn't the high-point man of the night, his performance still deserves a mention. He only attempted two field goals in the first half, but he managed to get the free throw line 11 times by the break as well. James may not have scored 48 points like he did in Game 5, but he displayed his incredible all-around talents, putting up 20 points, grabbing 14 rebounds, and dishing 8 assists. He also displayed strong efforts on the defensive end, as he blocked two shots and came away with two steals, as well as not allowing Tayshaun Prince to do any damage in the post. LeBron James is a truly remarkable talent, as he has led his team to the NBA Finals at just 22 years of age.

The biggest factor in the game was the fact that Cleveland simply wanted it more. Cleveland won the battle on the boards by a margin of 20 rebounds, 53-33. Cleveland also got great contributions off the bench, as the Cavalier bench combined for 43 points, 31 by Daniel Gibson, to help the team come away with the victory. They were out-hustling, out-running, out-rebounding, out-shooting, and out-working Detroit, and the Pistons fell apart at the end of the night. Pistons forward Rasheed Wallace lost his cool in the closing minutes of the 4th quarter, as he was hit with two technical fouls and ejected from the game after losing his cool towards the officials. Had there been a Game 7, Wallace would have been suspended for it, due to his technical foul totals in the playoffs.

Cleveland will face the San Antonio Spurs in the 2007 NBA Finals, led by all-time great Tim Duncan. Game 1 of the 2007 NBA Finals will be on Thursday night at 8:00 pm ET. By that time, San Antonio will have had an eight day rest, while Cleveland will have a 5 day break. Will LeBron James pull off the impossible and give Tim Duncan and the Spurs a serious run for their money? Only time will tell. You'd better get your popcorn ready, sit back, and enjoy the ride.

I'm a hater of the Cavz and proud. I've really never liked LeBron at all. People think he's the greatest thing on earth and some think he's better then Kobe. So pretty much two teams that I dislike are in the finals. If the Cavs are smart - they should shop Larry Hughes around, because I believe they've found there newest point guard. Daniel Gibson was a monster this series - I'll give him props for that. I betcha alot of Cavs fans are going to join BBW very soon lol. Just like how the Wizards had so many fans when they were hot.

First off, congrats to the Cavs and their fans. You guys deserved to win this series. I didn't see any sense of urgency by any of our players, it looked like we could care less if we won or lost. It will be a very interesting offseason for us, with Chauncey at the top of the list.

Isn't it amazing how one player can have such an impact? Wow. LeBron goes from being the man in game 5, and then switches it up and takes a more passive role putting his teammates in a better position to score. I'm so happy for Cleveland fans, I love it that the Eastern conference is getting some attention, it's impossible not to like or support LeBron. His play in Game 6, then, was equally as masterful as it had been in Game 5, but for other reasons. These include unselfishness, maturity, discipline, and above all, having unlimited faith in his teammates.Bravo! The man-child has officially become a master. - Charlie Rosen

I know Rasheed will come out with a vengeance, after seeing how pissed he was after last game.2. McDyess will be playing his heart out for sure, knowing this could be his last chance for a ring.3. Billups came out of his shooting slump the other game, will probably stay hot.4. Webber came alive last game.5. Lebron is tired after last game, and I don't see him having another superhuman performance.6. No way this veteran Piston team loses 4 in a row.7. Facing elimination, we have proven to prevail most of the time, exceptions being last year against the Heat, and in the finals against the Spurs in game 7.Call me crazy, but Pistons take this game by at least 5. If they lose, feel free to rag on me all you want. I am 100% confident we come out with a win today.</span></div>Lebron is probably one of the most athletic players you know, hes in above excellent shape, him and probably Steve Nash are the best in the league in terms of stamina, and people will always tell you that Lebron's offensive game is 90% athletisim, this guy doesn't get tired easily.

I am glad to see that the Cavs won. Gibson played great basketball and the rest of the team played very well when they needed to. Even though I think the Cavs will go down in five to the Spurs. Best of luck to the Cavs. Shold be a interesting series.

Man this is a damn good feeling. I really....REALLY hope that LeBron can ease the pain that we Clevelanders have been feeling for decades.
