yeah, winning all four of a back-to-back-to-back-to-back is a huge accomplishment, especially considering that last night's game went into OT Altman is a great coach. I watched the Ducks play a half dozen games when they had Bol Bol, and IMO, if he would have stayed healthy, Oregon would be a top-10 team right now and have a decent shot of making it to the final-4
I haven’t seen a single game but I’m excited for the Ducks. Besides Bol, do they have any other NBA level players?
not really, no. Maybe Okoro by the time he's an upper-classman and Louis King if he stays for his sophomore season. it was down to Duke and Oregon for RJ Barrett. Reportedly, he said it was extremely close as he knows some other Canadian players who have gone to Oregon. But ultimately, he decided to stay out East even though Duke is a long way from Toronto
Bill Walton said that Pritchard is reminiscent of Nash and Stockton but Bill is a little prone to hyperbole... just a little.
He also said King hitting the ball off the ass of a Husky player and getting a T was a crime against humanity. Which is why Bill must be protected at all cost
there was a funny exchange last night between Walton and his sidekick about the rumor that Altman might take thejob at Nebraska: PASCH: [discusses old Dana Altman-to-Nebraska rumors] WALTON: How many people do you know that are moving out of Oregon to Nebraska? PASCH: He’s from there. WALTON: He’s *from* there for a reason. - @JohnGasaway
