GS has to have some serious locker room issues still. Things aren't right there Maybe the kingdom is crumbling.

If they’re that talented, why do they lose by 35 at home to Mavs? They’re not even gonna win 60 games this year. Rockets would’ve won series last year if CP3 didn’t get hurt.

Denver is the number one seed.

Yeah the GS score is a puzzler. Giving up 37, 37, and 34 through 3 quarters? You think with Curry out they would step it up on D.

But he did. So the if game doesn't matter.

Unless we can say that we would have won the series against the pelicans IF they didn't double team dame.

If Trae Young keeps it up and the Hawks get a good player with the Dallas' pick. suddenly the Luka trade doesn't look too bad

I think Atl and Dallas look to have a solid young core to build with. I know people love Luka (He deserves the hype), but. Both of those teams might be in the playoff mix in a year or two.

By watching the warriors there something wrong with that team this year. I got feeling they might not win the west this year but they should but it is a feeling.

I think it's a couple things that are at issue. For starters, they're getting older and other teams have caught up (a bit). Also, I think them winning 73 games but losing in the finals kind of gave them a reality check (along with how other teams have pointed out how the regular season isn't the end all be all). You don't have to go all out 100% of the time in the regular season. Preserve your energy for the playoffs.

Also, it tends to be difficult for teams to sustain this long of a stretch of great basketball. The Spurs didn't. The Lakers didn't. The Celtics (recently) didn't. The Cavs and Heat didn't. It's not easy to be among the best in the league for 5 straight years (one could argue that the Bulls might have been able to pull this off had Jordan not retired, but at the same time one could argue that Jordans retirement, and the addition of Rodman, prolonged their ability to dominate).

Until someone knocks them off in the playoffs, they have to be considered the odds on favorite to win the west and the title.

Even if they don't win it this year (or reach the finals), their run has been a historic one. But all runs must eventually come to an end. Be it age, personalities or finances. In the case of the Warriors, it might be all 3.

Remember when half the board was saying "duh of course the Lakers will make the playoffs it's Lebron !" ?

I knew this trash team was lottery bound

I can own up to being wrong, Im guessing youve been wrong before too.

I definitely thought Lebron would make the Lakers good enough to be a bottom seed in the west. I thought the NBA would do everything they could to push that into being. I think it caught Lebron by surprise too, and I think its great that the Pelicans werent into letting things go according to Lebrons plan.

I plead guilty to being one of those. But in our defense there were two things that no one calculated.
    1) Lebron getting hurt and missing 17 games in a row
    2) AD requesting a trade and the Lakers offering their whole team for him which resulted in the change in team chemistry.

Remember at one point they were 18-11 and firmly in playoff position.

The Warrior loss to Dallas is a good argument against why resting Dame at home against a lottery team is not a great idea. If you HAVE to rest him, rest him against a team on the road you probably would lose to anyways.

Look at what Magic could have picked at number 2, and he goes after a guy who can't make it through, and not even close to, a complete season, shoots under 50% from the line and whose family stuff is just a tremendous distraction and PITA. I mean your point guard is the go-to-guy opponents foul like Deandre Jordan use to be! If given the choice you foul Lonzo not Deandre. Hilarious. Now add in all the Lebron stuff, and all the "talent" amassed after signing him and I ask myself, is magic really a BB genius?

Golden state will roll thru the playoffs and win another title. Funny how the hate is so strong towards them, it blocks what little common sense some of you have.

I hate GS (not as much as the Lakers, but still)... You mught be right, and if they were all clicking no doubt in my mind they’d run away with it.
It could be the hate, but I think the Houston series last year gives me some hope they’re beatable. Also I honestly believe all that winning and hype and super long seasons, has caused some massive ego’s to start colliding there, KD and Kerr, KD and Draymond, Cousins also is clearly not the same player he was. Now will they collect themselves and go do what they’re supposed to do? I wouldnt be shocked if their 16-1 again, but I think there are reasons for hope that other teams can maybe have a chance at them.

Woj Tweeting the Lakers are interested in Jason Kidd as a coach when they havent fired Walton yet is just nuts. I actually feel bad for Walton, just wasnt good enough friends with Lebron I guess.
