Meyers is also the one who, according to Lamar, offered to cover the cost of any tickets they where short for the Blazers Edge kids night.
Meyers seems to be the Nick Collison ...Blazer version....nice guy..loyal...seems to actually give a shit
Because it fits this thread, I am copying part of my comment (from Blazers need 3 point scoring) on the AMA Reddit session in this thread. Kudos to Meyers for these candid responses! Reading through the dialog after the event, I find that most of the comments were superficial but mostly pleasant. There are a lot of friends and admirers. Meyers seems to be informed of the hatred voiced against him in the RipCity2 game threads that are understandably damaging to Blazer confidence, and thus chances to win. If the disrespectful members of this forum would look to the positives, giving optimism for what is possible and offer fan talk for him, as many are now doing for Anf, Skal, and Zach, there can be greater success. Meyers is a conscientious man who works hard to improve and cares what fans think, and thus can have his confidence influenced. For Blazer success, it would be great if comments on this forum would avoid the bashing and instead stay with being constructive comments of fans who look for paths to winning--and can imagine the Blazer NBA Championship.
He was always a good guy. It's his basketball that has increased in leaps and bounds. Even his defense has improved.
I just looked it up and it means American Management Association. Just kidding, it means American Motorcycle Association. Oh, come on, those were funny. I think he was trying to say "Ask Me Anything" but he went about it all the wrong way. Now, this is for him and not for you but when you use an acronym, unless it's very very common, you must spell it out in full and then use the acronym first in parentheses. This is the standard English technique for avoiding tons and tons of confusion.
Hey, don't be lazy. If you know the answer, what's the harm in letting him and apparently a lot of others know what the heck it means? You know, whenever you have a lot of people holding an opinion, in this case a question, that should be a clue that maybe just maybe, it might be helpful to let people know what the hell is going on.
I honestly thought the OP was talking about Meyers doing Advanced Martial Arts. Imagine my disappointment when I found out it was about typing.
Myers seems like a good guy and a good teamate. He's built like a brick shithouse and sets lethal picks. His 3 point shooting has really improved and he's good from the line as well.
