    3 steals
    2 blocks

Westbrook 5-20 and 1-6 from three.

I think this guy deserves some major credit for his defense in this game.

Dame’s the best. He truly took it on himself to man up after last years series and he’s definitely done that so far. I’d love to sweep these jokers.

Credit where credit is due. Tonight was one of the best defensive performances I've seen from Dame.

Dame just made a former NBA MVP look like some random guard. Ridiculous level of performance all around. There is no question he's a superstar.

Dame just addressed his defense in the postgame - damn we are lucky to have this guy:

    Dame's defense has improved

but more then that, I keep thinking about where Portland could have been mentally and emotionally after CJ and Nukic went down 4 games apart. The Blazers could have folded....many teams would have

but the Blazers held together and I just think it's a testament to Lillard's leadership and character. He's the keystone for this franchise right now and has been since his 2nd season. I can't know exactly how things go in the Blazer locker room, but from all reports the way Dame holds himself accountable and the way he bonds with all of his teammates is what holds everything together

and he's always talked about being accountable defensively and working hard to improve on that end of the floor. Sure is looking like the work is paying off

Been saying all year that he's no longer a poor defender. Last night was definitely the best and most complete defensive game I've seen, but he's been playing good defense throughout the season.

Agreed. I loved it. His solid defense was so clearly evident. Really was a key part of the third quarter.

    Dame has set a tone.
The Blazers are throwing the first punch taking it to OKC.
They don't look timid and their body language is excellent.
The Blazers are going to win this series, most likely in five games.
All they gotta keep doing is follow Dame's lead.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
His defense improved quite a bit last year. Last year, IMO, he ceased being a defensive liability. This year, he's improved further. His size will always hold him back a bit on that end, but he works hard and has good technique.

I don’t care what the numbers say, haven’t even looked, Lillard stopped being a liability on that end years ago. I love when someone tries to post him up. The only thing I don’t love is pick and roll defense. Can we please hire someone to teach these guys how to get through a screen, because it’s not just a Lillard issue.

He's getting really crafty in his ability to take charges too.
