Meyers did a pretty good job against Adams, he has the body and the strength to compete with him in the paint, but i'm not sure how he plays on the road, it's easy to play with confidence at home, hopefully he is mentally ready to play in front of the Okc crowd

I'd love a sweep but more realistically, hoping for at least a split and a win in Game 5. That would set the Blazers up for what I believe would be an extra day or so of rest before the winner of the Spurs/Nugs series. Also, it would just be less of a mental grind which is huge this time of year.

Btw wtf should we do with Evan turnover? He's awful, he can not even beat Fat Felton, he's completely useless, whenever he's on the court OKC is having a run, and it makes life for Seth, Hood and Collins a lot more difficult to play alongside with this dumb player. Maybe we should stagger Dame and CJ again for those two road games. I hope Evan turnover never ever steps on the court in a Blazers jersey, he's horrible

I tend to agree with you. 3 guard rotation with Curry playing about 24 minutes and Dame/CJ staggered and playing 36 minutes each. Hood/Moe/Layman/Aminu can have all the forward minutes. Turner is ancillary--should be 3rd string.

    Sit his ass down.

Play Layman, play Simons, play Seth or Hood more, shorten the rotation, I don't care there's plenty of options, but he is the worst and needs to Sit. His. Ass. Down.

Of course--after we all crap all over him, watch him be Westbrook-lite (without the ill-advised 3's) on Friday, running the bench offense to perfection.

I mean, not likely, but I wouldn't put it past him.

I want a sweep too but would be happy winning in 5, 6, or 7.

It's probably an unpopular opinion, but I want Denver in round 2. That way we can win it for Nurk and he can tell them "have a happy summer". Not that I'm getting ahead of myself or anything.

I'd look for Westbrook to come out firing. He seems to do this when his back is against the wall, while he attempted 39 and 43 attempts in their two elimination games in the first round last year. I'm totally OK with him doing this btw.

I think OKC will shoot better at home and Portland is going to have to play with them and withstand the early emotion/run that is likely to occur.

Lillard wants the sweep I can see it in his eyes. If you’ve watched Lillard for the past eight years, you know the look I’m talking about. When he goes into that zone he’s unstoppable. Hopefully it continues.

Evan Turner is the only blemish on this team. He's truly awful - not a single positive, and multiple negatives. Doesn't deserve to play a single second. (And now with that said, I'm sure he'll have one of his once-in-a-blue-moon games.)

How could any team wearing those hideous teal jerseys ever hope to win?

He played bad. Made some absolutely stupid decisions. He needs to play smarter because he needs to play. He is still one of our better wing defenders off the bench and having the 3rd ball handler in there helps. There are certain players who need to stop trying to do too much and he is one of them.

Evan Turner has one use in this series and that's bringing the ball up, but with his high ass dribble I'm thinking even this one menial skill is being taken away.

Just play Seth and let him bring it up.

Maybe we just need someone to show Turner all these posts on the internet to help motivate him... Apparently last time that was done he came out and got back to back triple-doubles.

With as valuable as the volume of outside shooting has proven to be so far in this series, it does seem that Turner's "skills" are not as important at the moment.

Yeah but again PG has been in the game with their second unit. Who off of our bench do you want guarding him? ET did a great job of it in game one. He plays better D against bigger wings than he does against smaller quicker guards IMO because he likes to play physical. (and he is not that quick)

I would rather see Seth taking a contested 3 than Evan turnover on the Court, he's flat out awful

He better just be a guy in a suit next season. Have to find an actual backup point guard. He’s probably already on the roster; Simons.
