@dviss as a ref what do you think? Is this a flagrant? 1? 2? A regular foul? A boxout? A "normal play" as Malone calls it?
Jokic is borderline unprofessional with his behavior. He's not just a dirty player like donkey Green. He does stupid stuff like slap the wrists of opponents all the time, it's stuff you see in low-level hood play and nowhere else. Nurkic would have taught him a lesson once or twice while giving him his asshole smile and then it would have stopped. I don't recall Tub Of Lard pull any of this shit when he played against Nurk. At least now we know why they call him "the joker".
Of course Malone would say that because he is backing up his player. But if Kanter did that Jokic then he would be talking a different story.
Exactly. I respected Malone until he said that dumb shit...equating that dirty play with an equally dirty play by the same guy on the same guy who happens to have a shoulder injury. Nurk would've head-butted that fuckass into oblivion if his leg wasn't fucking broken, but since it's already broken, Jokic would've probably preemptively stomped on it...
No shit. Also a dirty play that caused a skirmish. The Denver player was pissed at Kanter because he was pushed by another Denver player. I hope I don’t regret saying this, but they seem like low-IQ folk.
...this is exactly what HAMMERTIME should be about! I don't care if he fouls out in 10 minutes, hack-a-jockitch time!
Wouldn't you care a bit when they have a parade to the foul line cause you’re in the bonus for 9 minutes of a quarter and the Blazers cant get into a rhythm on offense?
I think Jokic was over the line. That was a 'wind up' of am elbow and certainly not basketball play. However... Before we get too high and mighty, many a poster was all for going after PG's shoulder and some of the posts were none too subtle in how to accomplish that.
Although it would be nice to see Meyers drop the hammer on Murray’s leg, I personally would like to see him drop an elbow across Jokic’s nose. I’m sure he can afford it but I’m sure the players would chip in for his fine.
Well, yeah..... he lives in Denver. And what he doesn’t do there, he does in his short jaunt to Vegas.
