Sacbee.com<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Should the Kings and Cavs renew talks they had before last February's trade deadline, Cleveland's front office should realize even more how necessary it is to surround James with shooters.Bibby is a prideful sort who doesn't want to be traded because it would mean the Kings gave up on him. He's also a 29-year-old who doesn't want to go through a long rebuilding process.More than once, it has been pointed out to Bibby that a trade to Cleveland likely would mean he would wake up every game day knowing he'd be getting 10 wide-open looks while defenses pay attention to James. The negative for Bibby, who grew up in Arizona, would be waking up in a house in Cleveland.</div>LinkI think Bibby would be a nice fit, although at first I was reluctant. Bibby has always had a nice shooting stroke and for the Cavs to have more success they need more shooters. Is Bibby the right shooter for the Cavs? Should these two teams renew trade talks?

Who would Cleveland give up for Bibby tho? Bibby is a shooter but I feel like he can run the PG too...would Gibson accept this? Will they trade Hughes?

Bibby could run the Cavs' offense far better than Gibson. As far as Hughes, you never know when he's going to be healthy or not. If the Cavs were to land Bibby, Hughes would bump up to SG and Bibby would start at PG, brining Gibson off the bench for scoring.

I'm sure to get Bibby the Cavs would have one of their younger players, most likely Gibson, and I don't think the Cavs would want to do that, seeing as they are trying to gain shooters

Larry Hughes will NOT be traded. LeBron James is in love with the guy, I ain't even playing either. Out of all the free-agents[Redd, Allen, Hughes, J.J] Who did LeBron James want the most? Larry Hughes. Micheal Redd showed up at the airport and I believe he was going to sign with us, but no one showed up. LeBron didn't seem to care, it turns out he got Larry to come to Cleveland and then he signed. Anyway, the only way we get Bibby is if we deal out Gooden, Gibson or Brown and cash. I don't want Bibby, so no thanks. I'd rather take my chances with Hughes running the point, and us buying a draft pick and maybe getting Ron Lewis[As I said before]. Sure, he is young and all, but the dude can shoot. Just what this team needs. So please, Ferry... No Mike Bibby.

And, it would give them a player who can run an offense better than Hughes. The only thing Hughes has up on Bibby is his defense. But, when Hughes is hurt all the time, he isn't really contributing on defense. Cavsrule, I think you're the one who is in love with Hughes.

Having him on the Cavaliers hasn't been the best for him, but I believe it will work in time. James loves Hughes, no doubt about it. He could've had Redd, but picked Hughes. That says a lot right there. Why would the Kings want Larry Hughes, anyway?

Are you high? What have you been smoking? Why do people just think Micheal Redd can SHOOT? Did you know back in collage he was all about defense, he learned how to shoot good when he was teammates with Ray Allen. Redd's defense is what got him into the NBA, made him a 2nd round pick. Just shoot? Give me a break. Redd is the kinda player we needed, a guy that can "shoot". Hughes isn't the player that shoots the jumper often, hes the kinda player that goes to the rim, and what Cleveland needed is a jump shooter. Hughes, if worked hard could possible fill that role, but I don't think he'll be anywhere near the guy we need[shooter]. Uh, we gave Hughes 70 Million.......

I know what Hughes does...Michael Redd got a maximum contract...6 yrs 91 mill...Hughes got signed for 21 million less and 1 year less...point still stands...

I'd pay Redd 100 million to play with the Cavaliers. Redd is more then just shooting, people need to understand that.
