surely all the other teams that have watched Turner this post season and are looking to tank next season would highly value his ability to turn any lead into an instant 8-10 swing in the opponents favor? he gives +8 to win resistance whilst coming off the books once his job is done. also, in no version of the world does meyers ever become more important to this team. I'd rather play Anfernee at C, and im not even kidding when i saw he'd probably get more rebounds and, potentially, blocks.
He and Jrue are boys. The Pelicans will be looking for a way to keep him happy when moving on from Davis and they will want a lot of picks. Could be a good fit. The other one I'd like is CJ/ET to San Antonio for Derozan/Bellinelli/filler. CJ would actually work really well with their big defensive PGs.
Well technically you can if the buyout amount is the full amount of his contract, LOL. With one year left on our bad deals, stretching them now would kill us for 3 years instead of 1. It's so not worth it.
I think there are teams that would like one more pick. They would tank anyway so why not get Turner for a year. They can even buy him out later this season. I don't see why they wouldn't want him if a pick is attached. But for sure you are not getting a 2nd pick back. Nobody would give pick 33 for Turner+25.
Check out his and the bench plus minus from the last game, he runs the offense behind Dame and does a good job, I like him and I would keep him
Leonard Harkless Turner will get more attractive toward closer to trade deadline. But that will be for only players for expiring contracts
I have been to a few games. There is no question that Turner does command a certain amount of respect and he has something that juices up the players around him. Seriously watching him live on the court and on the sidelines is a different feel than what you see on TV.
Did i just read that right? So you want CJ to light the Blazers up 4 times a year and during the playoffs for the rest of his career?
Oh God. Please don't keep his contract here longer than it needs to be. If anything we should see if we can trade him for another guy who's having a shit playoffs: Gordon Hayward. Both of these guys could use a change of scenery. That glut of wings in Boston is destroying him. He will never live up to his contract, but he'll be a helluva lot better than ET here.
