I believe that will be the starting lineup....first game next season.

That change would be too drastic for Terry. As if this loss wasn't too drastic...

We play two bigs (Meyers and Zach) in the 4th and quickly foul Jokic out. Whoulda thunk?

Harkless is no where near as bad as Aminu. Aminu is just absolutely terrible though. So that's really not saying much.

But yeah Collins should start and Meyers should play. At least he was physical with Jokic. Aminu guarding Jokic is a joke.

I mean we just got to hit our shots, right? It's as simple as that...

We need to be much more physical with Jokic. We need to send in the goon squad earlier in the game.

And Kanter CAN'T guard Millsap. That matchup is a nightmare.

We're at our best when Aminu/Harkless play major minutes and PLAY WELL but of course, we can't count on that. So I'm not sure. Harkless was fantastic in the 4OT win. We wouldn't have won without him. And Aminu played fantastic in Game 4. We haven't ever won a game with Hood/Collins starting so there is an unknown.

Would love that to be the case if Nurks not ready, but Kanter probably is gone to a big contract elsewhere.

Yep, Chief and Mo look to have hit their ceiling as players.

And if Enes is fatigued, injured, and fasting, start Meyers! At least play Meyers by the 8 min mark in 1st Q to score swish3s, dunk2s, screen, rebound, and hustle to build the lead and protect it. Blazer coaches need to respond to the blowout loss in Game 5 by better optimizing Blazer resources for both swish3 offense (we need to aim for 15+ scored) and defense, and Meyers is the answer.

BG is really the perfect PF for this team, no idea how we would get him without including CJ though.

Does 2 expirings (Nards and Hark), Zach, and 2 1s get it done?

Why not play him from mins 8 to 48 to maintain the lead. He should be really fresh and the big muscles show peak human condition so he can make it to 40 straight mins.

Why should including CJ be off the table? Blake is a clear upgrade in talent. Hes a better defender, a better passer, he can 'get his own shot' (just like CJ), he's better at running the P&R...

On top of all that, its much easier to find an adequate replacement for the SG position. Hell, we have one on the team right now.

I just don’t think they want him, if they are trading BG they wanna clear space not add it or trade him for a lesser player.

I highly doubt Detroit will trade Griffin. They traded for him so that they would have a superstar to help fill their fancy new arena. Griffin is a bigger star than CJ.

For what it's worth I have a Pistons connection and he told me that if it was his choice he'd for sure do the following:

    Blake Griffin

    for

Evan Turner, Meyers Leonard, Zach Collins, 2019 #25, and a 2020 1st lottery protected.

I said it many times. With Harkless and Aminu as your starting forwards you ceiling is the 2nd round at max

Harkless should play more, he is our best, strongest, defensive player. I wouldn't replace him for Hood's 3 field goals made as Hood is simply not in the same league defensively. Remember when Terry kept Harkless out in the closing minutes of game 4 how we couldn't get a fucking stop to lose the game?
The more accurate question is if Hood should play at all or if Layman could be a better backup SF
