<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Larry Brown, the veteran NBA vagabond coach who had a disappointing single season coaching the New York Knicks in his most recent stint on the bench, would be interested in getting back into coaching with the Sacramento Kings, a newspaper reported."I want to get back," Brown told the Sacramento Bee from his home in Philadelphia. "I miss it terribly. I haven't lost the passion to teach and coach. I don't want to end my career at 23-59. I feel I can do better. I look at Sacramento ... I respect the heck out of Geoff [Petrie]. I coached half that team. I don't mind going somewhere that's rebuilding, but wherever I go, I want everybody to feel that I'm the right person."</div>I don't know what I think about Brown coming to SAC-Town, but I do know he'll be an upgrade over their last head coach. Maybe Brown can take the Kings back into the playoffs next year? :dunno:

I was just about to post this (even though outside of me I haven't noticed any other Kings fans active here). Anyway, when they fired Musselman I was hoping they tried to get Brown to come back to coach them, so I hope not only is this report true, but they make it happen. The Kings have potential to be a playoff team next year if they draft right (Julian Wright), ship Artest out of town, and KEEP Bibby. The entire team is a total mystery to me right now in what they plan on doing...
