In past games, Meyers has been excellent against Boogie Cousins. Let's match Meyers against Boggie and generally together with Zach go after GSW with an aggressive big man lineup!

Clippers took them to 7. Rockets were minutes away from doing the same. These Warriors are at their most vulnerable since the beginning of their dynasty. We're tired, they're also pretty tired. More than they're used to.

While Durant is out, we need to harass Steph and Klay with our longer wings. Dame guards Draymond, CJ guards Iguodala. Put Harkless on Klay, Aminu on Steph. Steph is the one that can tear us up making contested 3's, so Aminu's long arms are needed to make sure he can't get a good look at the rim.. Give him the same treatment that Dame got from the Nugs and Pelicans. I don't care if we have to offer good open looks to their other guys. If Dre and Dray beat us shooting 3's, so be it. I don't think they can. Stotts needs to take that gamble.

Hopefully Rodney returns without much fallout from his injury. If so, we need to take advantage of our awesome depth against their weakened bench.

This series turns on how early Durant returns and how healthy he looks. My guess is they will play game 1 without him to see if they even they need him. If he doesn't play for at least three games, I think we have a chance.

Other caveats to keep in mind during this series:

We need to find a way to get Draymond irritated. 3 more techs and he's suspended-- he has 4 already. On a similar note, Zach has 3 and needs to be careful. I really hope refs put an end to Green's complaining.

I believe the last of those was rescinded and he only has 3.

As weird as it is to say, the tougher gameplan for Stotts to come up with will be if Durant is out. When he's in, especially lately, the offense becomes so predictable. Granted he's the best player in the world but still, just throw everything at him defensively and live with the result. But when he's out the ball moves so much more, picks are set up higher, the game is more physical, and Stotts will have a much bigger impact.

I really excited for this series and to hear your takes on it. Should be fantastic. I'll be in Portland for at least one of games 3 and 4, any suggestions for something to do before or after the game around there.
