We likely can't receive a player in a sign an trade as we'd have to cut salary and stay under the tax.
I can't tell you how many times I've said "we can't do that" or "we're done" or "it's too much" or "who's gonna step up" or "I'm happy with what we've done" or, or, or, or, or....... They keep defying. Why, now, would I keep thinking the same thing? I won't. I have no fucking clue how this is going to turn out. None of us do. The Blazers have made that abundantly clear. So let's just enjoy it.
Makes me laugh. Eventually the Warriors dynasty is gonna end. Somebody will beat them, injuries, attrition, whatever. Many thought it could be Houston but that didn't happen. Why not RipCity? Like Ric Flair always said; "To be the Best, Ya gotta beat the Best! WHOOOO!"
It would be so sweet to be the team that ends the Warriors run, without our starting center. I'm thinking Blazers in 6
They will do everything in their power to gef gsw to the finals. Which is sad, because they should be able to do it themselves.
Actually @Serbian nobody is "laughing at us.....predicting a sweep....or in five....." blah blah blah. They were actually quite respectful and each had GS in six. No need to embellish the bias, dude.
I truly find this to be more true than ever. We (Blazers) must think and play one game at a time. No cliche, but an absolute. Tuesday - play their asses off and do everything it takes to win Tuesday. We can talk about Thursday come late Tuesday night!
I actually consider this as a big time show of respect for what our team has done. Not 1 person foresees a Warriors sweep. Go back to the negativity after getting swept in the first round last year by the juggernaut Hornets.... This is a pretty big turn around in national sentiment.
But he's talking g about the comments on the video.. and it's the same on Reddit. It may be stupid to care what anonymous people on the internet think (hah!) But that's what the OP is talking about.
Warriors have won 3 of the last 4 championships. They seem to be able to turn it on when needed. They have incredible weapons and a style that is hard to defend. Portland is missing Nurkic, has a one-armed replacement, and their 6th man just hyper-extended his knee. All signs point to the Warriors winning the series, so it's not some radical idea to consider them heavy favorites...they are it's still the same formula, Blazers need to bring their A game, try and steal one of the first 2, and let the chips fall. speaking of chips, here's the thing that counts in my view: Portland has been playing with house money since Nurkic went down and they keep raking more into their pot. There's no pressure now and nobody but diehards (and for some reason, Charles and Kenny) expects the Blazers to threaten the Warriors. That's a good place for Portland to be
Heard today on espn radio from some clown who said “ game 7 blazers vs nuggets was not interesting because they were playing for right to get destroyed by GSW. I cringed. How beautiful to prove these haters wrong be uuuuuffffff
This franchise has been the "underdog" forever...welcome to Blazer fandom...the media rarely gives us this much ink...beat the Lakers and read about how the Lakers lost the game, not how the Blazers won it.....comes with the territory around here. Go underdogs!
