How many games now have we started in a deep hole? How many times is Aminu and harkless going to start ?!?! Why is he scared to bench them? Has anyone thought about that he is scared to hurt their feelings and emotions?

Guys im seriously get mentality hurt. There is no way terry scotts is that blind and idiotic i know he has assistant coaches and guys on staff that can see that Aminu is dog shit. Yet over and over we keep playing same line up, I think once he made his mind up on his starting line up he will never ever change it because it may hurt the feelings.

Please someone give me an EXPLANATION wtf is going on WHY will We have same line up again on Thursday, I just want a rational explanation nothing more

Harkless played fine. He was also good at moving to the open area and getting layups when he couldn't hit a shot..

Aminu on the other hand.....looks like he has forgotten how to play basketball.

Terry isn't kneejerk. Aminu and Harkless have gotten us to the WCF. He's going to stick with them.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Harkless is one of their few good defensive wings--they need him out there.

Aminu is a force for chaos. He can be great, a defender who can switch between four positions and knock down threes, or he can be awful. Honestly, as the huge underdog, Portland needs to roll the dice on such variable players. If they don't get much from Aminu (either on the court or from being benched), they're not going to win anyway. Portland has to play its best game to beat Golden State and their best form happens when Aminu is playing well. Unfortunately, that happens less than half the time.

They haven’t played great lately, no. However, having Hood and Collins off the bench is one of our few advantages as a team. Our bench needs to dominate their bench.

Theyre definitely not the ones that got us to the WCF.

Dame, CJ, Rodney, and Zach were the 4 biggest contributors last round.

Yet he's guarding Iggy and not Klay...

Lillard / McCollum / Hood / Harkless (or Aminu) and Collins is what we need to roll woth right now. Have Harkless and Collins hedge or trap on screens involving Klay and Curry. Get the ball out and RUN.

Seriously? One of our starting forwards that was instrumental in getting us the three seed and a trip to the WCF?

Moe was great. Just don't pass to him on the 3-point line and he's just fine. His defense is half the reason this game was winnable for 3.5 quarters. Terry, Dame, Aminu, and Kanter - fucking disaster. And I thought Seth might be playable against his brother, but he's not. Never shoulda signed him - Simons would be FAR ahead of him had we played him from the beginning of the season.

Yeah totally. But Stotts won't see it that way.

I wouldn't blame Hood if he leaves in the offseason. He must be thinking WTF is Stotts doing for not giving me more playing time

Agreed. Their best two two-way wings are Harkless and Hood. Both need to play as many minutes as possible. Lillard and McCollum obviously do also. Kanter's minutes should mostly be limited in this series--they're sagging him because he'd get roasted defending Curry one-on-one in space if he switched, and Portland's guards have always been terrible at fighting over screens and staying connected. Playing Kanter when Curry isn't on the floor is an option.

Unless Cousins re-emerges, Portland needs to go small and switchy.

I can see the case for starting Hood, but this is the lineup that got us to the Western Conference Finals.

And if we were still playing the mental midget Thunder or the inexperienced Nuggets, it would be okay.
