Pitching today, Green stunk, Cortes was lucky, ditto Otavino. Adams was probably overall best. Morton did not have the kind of day Tampa expected. In this series Tampa threw their two best. That game yesterday would have been more of a heart breaker had the Yankees lost today. But they did not, the offense came up and kicked ass. Good win today despite the on paper pitching matchups. Morton got salted.
the Defensive Gem of the Day. Hope DD takes his time coming back, I wan't to see more of GT at SS...jes sayin' Had the Yanks of known Gio was a better Defensive Thunder Alley Specialists; the Trade of Sancheeto and Andujar for Realmuto would of had more urgency. Tho' I still believe Andujar will be back; and in due time become one helluva 3rd baseman with a strong bat...then what???
