The season is over tonight. The Warriors are not the kind of team who messes around and they are going to end this and end this before half-time. I predict an 18 point lead for GSW at the half and they will only extend it til the game is over. I am not interested in a 'gentleman's sweep' or the 'moral victory'. I want to see some significant changes, in coaching and personnel.

The one good thing is if this season was how they reacted to being swept by New Orleans, I can't wait to see the response next year.

I hope that part isn't tonight. But if it is, what a journey it was for the Blazers and us fans! It's been an absolute rollercoaster.

    Thought it over.

End it tonight. I don't want us to end the season in another team's arena.

I want a standing O for this team by the entire arena for the last 5 mins of the game. Show them the appreciation they deserve.

I can't bear the thought of watching Dame struggle like this for another day, man. The level of hate he's getting nationally is pissing me off.

Put us out of our misery. Regroup, get all the motivation we can from the hate and bounce back up next year. One win tonight will not change the narrative that's already been built over the past week. You know damn well GS will end it Wednesday even if we win tonight. At least give this team the support and acclaim they deserve while on the way out. The players will realize how much we appreciate them and how much it means to us that we're even here in the first place. Think that's worth more than a futile attempt to come back in the series.

If I remember correctly weren't you saying you'd never forgive CJ for quitting in game 4 against the Warriors 2 years ago? We got destroyed in that game.

Say he gets them to a game six and plays well the next 3 games though, even if they lose in game 6 wouldn't we be able to give him that send off in game 6? Wouldn't it change a lot of what the talking heads are saying? Those guys change their mind on a daily basis. A couple of good games where he outplays Steph and the narrative would change even if they lose the series.

We ain't winning Game 5 in Oracle unless Draymond goes down with an injury.

Why do you think anything will change with the way Dame is playing to suggest that he can outplay Steph?

Don't get me wrong, Im not gonna overtly root for a loss tonight. I'm just saying. I'd rather pull the plug and spare us all the pain of watching Steph and Draymond dance on our graves in Oakland. Much more dignified death if it's in Portland in front of 20k fans that support and uplift the players.

They can get a standing O even if they win; the fans know they won't be coming back for another game.

Game 3 was essentially a carbon copy of game 2. Home vs road hasn't seemed to mean anything.

With that in mind, if the Blazers are able to play well enough to win game 4, there's no reason to think they wouldn't be able to do the same again in game 5.

I get you, and all that just mostly talking myself into hoping they can at least win a couple... Getting swept is a crappy way to go...

I really hope so. Reading Skip's tweets got me down. This freaking hurts like hell to me. Can only imagine how these players are feeling.

I tend to realize I've got a pattern with these losses. I get down, then I get frustrated, then by about 12-16 hours later I'm just in let's go win mode. I wonder if that's how I was as an athlete too, just ok let me deal with the loss, "tonight" and tomorrow I'll be ready to try to kick their butt.

GS is extremely confident. No reason they shouldn't be. They will think nothing of the Blazers winning tonight, thinking they can finish the series at home.

What would be great is after the Blazers win tonight, they steal the next one from the overconfident Warriors.

I'm not giving GS all the credit for being 3-0. The Blazers keep beating themselves.

The Blazers exceeded almost everyone's expectations in the regular season by earning the third seed.

The Blazers exceeded almost everyone's expectations by winning in the first two rounds of the playoffs. And did so in Cardiac Kid fashion, without their starting center and fighting a variety of injuries.

The Blazers are one of only four teams that earned a place in the Conference Finals.

I voted B+ but it would be A- if they weren't 0-3 after punting two winnable games against the Warriors. The finals would be an A. The Championship would be A++

However. I’d be interested in seeing a post where I said I would NEVER forgive CJ.
Doesn’t sound like something I would say.
Never is a very long time.
CJ has played very well this postseason and he has worked hard every game I have watched to this point.
