    Dear Meyers,

    I'm sorry you've had a career PER of 12.3.

Thank you for playing well against a Warriors team that is coasting tonight.

With any luck you can teach Zach Collins to be average in his 7th season as well.

What? He gets blasted because he could have this type of impact. Because he's extremely talented and doesn't play up to it. A night of playing up to it just proves it more.

Reality is that he was easily our best player in Games 3 and 4.

I don't know if that says more about him or about the way everyone else played, but it sure is something.

It took Stotts 10 years to figure out how to use ML ... great coach. Duh !!!
Again, we play the Warriors 4 times per year. He still hasn't learned anything.
Again, Dame and CJ shooting too many 3s. Like I said before, you can't beat the Warriors at the 3 ball.
    We took 41 3-pointers. They took 39 ...
Play your freaking game ... Play the midrange game.
This is seriously annoying. Brainless players.

I've said since day one we're using him wrong and that whoever is trying to make him into a 7foot avg SG needs a bullet.

All i ever asked for from Meyers was, holy fuck.......... use your athleticism, play active, rebound, play hard defense, and GET IN THE GAME WHEN ON THE FLOOR.

i think all that really happened was he somehow realised he hasnt been playing to his strengths and another outside shooter (in a C's body) is the last thing we need.

i dont feel the need to apologise for anything, he needed to change, finally he did. for a game or 2 at least.

i gave him shit after consistent performances of shit. i'll give him props after likewise.

Strenuus, I couldn't disagree with you more! You watch a 1st half in which Meyers scored 5 of 6 swish3s (that is 83.3%!) that is the leading scoring of all players in the game and do not recognize what he has accomplished. Instead of talking about other players who may score 45%+ swish3s that we might add to the team, I would emphasize that Meyers has scored 75%+ swish3s now and previously in the Playoffs, and deserves to be recognized. His 10 of 13 swish3s still stands as the NBA record for at least 10 scored swish3s in the Playoffs!

I am sorry I don't think I owe Meyers shit except for he had a fantastic game. 1 fantastic game. He will probably battle for the start spot until Nurk comes back next year. It took 7 years for him to get here lets see if he can hold it or was it just a fluke since everyone was guarding Dame and he was open. With Enes maybe not being able to be signed due to cap issue's at this point it would be a little silly to trade him right now. With ET's contract equivalent to a tugboat anchor on a Prius we dam sure cant sign anyone much better then Meyers.
By the way Great game Meyers!

Watching the press interview of Dame and Meyers after the Meyers highlights, I can imagine that we would have won WCF Game 4 if Dame had really noticed that Meyers was the undisputed hot hand in the game, and should have taken the shot at the end of regulation (on a kickout pass), and also the last shot at the end of OT. When you have a guy shooting over 80% on swish3s, it pays to notice him and feed the hot hand. This is one facet where we really can improve and win these tough highly contested games. Meyers only missed 1 swish3 the 1st half, and because his last swish3 attempt was without enough time to beat the shot clock, only 1 in the 2nd half. If only we would have continued with Meyers instead of Rodney and Dame to score, we might have won.

Let's add noticing and putting a priority on feeding the hot hand, particularly for swish3 scoring, to the list of improvements to help us win the NBA Championship next season! You saw it first here!
