Golden State are just that much better than Portland right now.

    And Steph dominated.

Stats AND impact it really isn't close -- Dame is a poor man's Steph.

Nice job Leonard led the 1st united in the offensive and Zach in 11 minutes with 10 points and some good defensive.

Van Gundy is not gonna give up his cushy job to coach Portland. Never in a million years.

Its hard to say this because theyve accomplished a lot this year without Nurk, but they've gotta break up this team, and move on from Stotts. In this series they were up 17,19, and 17 points and LOST those leads in minutes and LOST those games.
I really like this team, I respect those guys what they've done this year, but its pretty clear that like what Lebron did to teams out east, Like the Raptors, Indy, Washington, even Boston. GS has broken the Blazers.
I hate to say it but even a Healthy Nurk cant help them if Dame / CJ just looked lost when it matters.
Hats off to the Blazers, Dame, CJ, Stotts, all of them for an incredibly fun ride this year, but I think its pretty obvious they know they cant beat GS and they need a radically different team that isnt broken to challenge them.

Yeah he helped open up or offense but no Stotts refuses to go back to him in the second half...play through him...get him shots.

Gotta find some forwards with better IQ on both ends.

If we had them, Stotts wouldn't feel the need to play Turner.

And those calling for Collins, he fucked up in pnr and where to be on O too many times to really be relied on in this game. His time will come though.

Grant Williams, Chuma Okeke, Justise Winlow would be a few guy in draft/trade to target for me.

You'd think Stotts would have played him more. But nah why do that when you have the best bench player in the game in Evan Turner.

Yup. With a good head coach were up 3-1 right now. I honestly believe that.

I’m okay with it. I’m proud of the team and making it this far. I think we can get back here with a healthy Nurk.

Collins defense and size would alone be worth playing over Turner though. Turner didn’t do jack shit for us in OT. We couldn’t rebound with him.

Yeah...the Clippers with a less talented team took two games off the Champs with KD. I know the Warriors were cruising in that series but they were definitely cruising in this game as well.

Overall, fun season for sure. No one can take away the shot, and a WCF berth. But I hope this series shows how far away to a championship we actually are, and that Stotts is not the coach to take us there.

However, I'm almost 100% sure Stotts bought himself another season with this WCF run. *SIGH*

We are Raptors West. Ujiri made some big changes, I doubt Olshey will.

Yeah, I get what you’re feeling, but none of that is going to happen. Get Nurk healthy, re-sign Hood, kiss Kanter goodbye, find an upgrade at the wing and lace them up again.

    Don't worry.
Next year here are the adjustments Stotts will make. He just texted me.

    - Sag big every play.
    - Start ET.
    - Bench Nards.
    - Stagger Lillard & CJ's minutes.
    - Run less.
    - Play ET at the 4 with the second unit because giving up offensive rebounds don't matter.

    Update.
    - Make sure Collins isn't defending someone who can score. As he's a poor on ball defender.

    Update #2.
    - Shoot more threes. Especially when they're not falling.

Sadly, it's true. Even without Durant, Iggy, and even Cousins....on the road, they were just better. (and certainly better coached)

The only good thing about the season being over is i do not have to watch anymore of Stotts offense that would make James Naismith roll over in his grave and maybe regret ever inventing this sport to begin with and i am being serious.

Watching this offensive I am surprised we actually made this far this totally a bad half court offensive but guess Nurk playing it built around 3 players.

Motion offense involving a whole team wins. We lost 3 games up 17 because our offense got demolished in crunch time. We didn’t go cold. We got shut down. Nurk would have helped a ton on D and some on O. But we need to change our offense.
