What excuses do we need? Steph, Klay, and Draymond were better than Dame and CJ. It's almost like the Blazers are missing a third contributor.....

Lillard was utter TRASH. Still wouldn't trade him, still think he's the best Blazer ever and we're very lucky to have him. But I won't shy away from saying it - after Terry Stotts he is the next biggest reason we lost this series. Fucking. Garbage.

And yet he's not wrong - not in any way, shape, or form.

With a healthy Nurk, and a healthy Kanter and Hood off the bench, and an emerging Collins, this team would have been a beast. An inside presence that GS could not gave matched. A Finals appearance would have been in our grasp.

All is well. Great season. Dump Aminu, start Zach, and we are locked and loaded.

    Go Blazers!

The only sequence that really annoyed me about Lillard tonight was the end of the first half. The turnover, when the Blazers had the ball with the last shot before half, then the terrible clear path foul, which gave the dubs the ball after 2 Curry FTs which of course led to a Curry 3. A five point swing that made all the difference it turns out, and a huge mental lapse. It happens to the best of them, but that was huge and it did upset me.

That all sounds well and good....but Stotts will still play Turner if he can. ET must go.

Stop making excuses for Dame costing us a win in regular time.

Regardless of our injuries, Terry's coaching deficiencies were on full display. With proper coaching all of those games were winnable, and yet we won none because of coaching decisions.

    lol.

    "What excuse does Dame have?"

I don't know, seperated ribs and still trying to carry a team that overachieved?

Now CJ? Yes, CJ fucked up. I still want him traded.

But the way I see it, without Dame all year, you don't get to bitch tonight, so it's kind of weird.

I'll never doubt Dame. That's the smart thing to do.

The other is to know facts. Like separated ribs. But that goes against the narrative people want to push. Which is sad, it mirrors society a bit. But I digress.

    Also facts.

Hopefully this sweep gets Stotts fired. That'll be the best thing to happen from this.

    Simple:

Aminu + Harkless + Turner [you don’t score with them, they play lack-luster defense, they turn the ball over, they don’t rebound AND they don’t score.

This loss to GS had nothing to do with Dame, CJ or Leonard.

Kerr said it best on his post game /

Dame and CJ are fantastic . You don’t break them up. This entire playoffs made things our issues crystal clear: WING and an active PF

Lillard and McCollum are so bad I think they should be benched for the next game.

...and a coach who knows how to handle a defense that double-teams his PG.
...and a coach who recognizes when his 3-guard line-up is getting killed on the offensive board.
