Basketballfanstan, has managed to unanimously unite the Blazer board for perhaps the first time all season. Stan's the Man!

He indirectly brings up a good topic, in just how long the Warriors can expect their dynasty to continue before they slump back down again to perennial mediocrity. The players are saying the "right" thing regarding Durant, but count me among those who think they look better without him. We might actually still be playing if Durant didn't get hurt since the two players most affected by his presence, were the two biggest killers in the WCF. So, when he leaves this summer, I'm not sure that ends anything and might actually extend their dynasty. Especially, since it would help them re-up Thompson.

Real Bay Area warriors fan 40+ years. I won’t apologize for this scrub because he’s clearly not one of ours. You guys nailed it no true warriors fan would ever swing from lebrons sack ever.
I listen to the warriors flag radio station everyday and I can tell you the words used to describe the blazers today were “ class” gritty” on the rise” unfortunate injury and still competitive. Literally no one predicted a sweep and in fact 6 or 7 games was the most common prediction. One host made a comment that I believe was held by most if not all dub fans, it was such a much more exciting series playing against the blazers so unlike Houston with all its flopping and ref excuses crying , I can tell you no warriors fans respect the rockets but they do respect the blazers and their brand of basketball. I read on here in your forum that at least the clippers won a couple of games as if that diminished the blazers accomplishments
The reason the clippers got a couple of games is the warriors never got out of regular season mode with them because they didn’t take them seriously ,that’s why they hung 31 points on them and then took a nap and lost. They took Portland seriously from the first tip.
I wasn’t planning on signing up and invading your forum but this idiots post pissed me off and I can tell you that from what I’ve heard and read, the majority of true warriors fans feel like me. Which is it was an honor to play you guys and I hope we get another opportunity to square off in the playoffs again soon. I feel confident you will return even stronger.

P.s dame Lilliard playing through that separated rib and never once complaining or using it as an excuse....pure class and guts

Yawn. Even all the media pundits, while admitting that Durant may be the best player in the world, say the Warriors are clearly a better team without Durant.

I tend to agree. Steph, who had been catching a shitton of heat over his lame performances in the playoffs the past couple years, played his best basketball during this series. Durant and his iso-ball and ball domination clearly stifles that offense.
