We need to transition from "maximizing talent" and "developing players" to competing. Sure, thats helpful, but his flaws are a detriment in the post-season and one run doesnt change that (its funny how last year it was circumstances but this year it isnt...).

When you say they choked and we choked, since its plural, i can only assume you meant the team and not stotts.

Your opinion is its lame. My opinion is it happened.
Ive seen this wall hit before.

Thoroughbred race horses have some of this same issue.

After such a long season the endurance runs out. Cant go as long. Still start each race out strong but cant finish.

Players cool down at half time. These guys are human man. Not machines. Yes. I 100% believe it was a hell of alot harder for them to turn it back on again going into the third quarter.

You call it lame, i call it logical.

Well none of that stuff really matters though. I mean what do real experts/players that actually play and work with the guy know?

Just had the realization that we will never see Dame coached by anyone else in his prime.

    ughhhh.

Sounds like the Cavs interviewed him but are seemingly more interested in Ime Udoka?
Raptors talked to him but chose Nick Nurse.
Seriously the word out is there are huge holes in his defensive coaching abilities. I'm interested in Messina. But the fact that he continues to either get passed over or he declines the situation makes me wonder?

To be fair, the Warriors seemed to have no problems turning it on going into the 3rd quarter.

Exactly. I've said multiple times that I believe there were multiple reasons why things went the way they did. One of them is hitting a wall. Some seem to think that is ALL i'm saying.

I just didn't see a wall being hit. I saw a team that simply was happy they got to the WCF and were satisfied with at least making it tough on GS a few games but didn't believe they could actually win. What you perceive as tired I perceived as a lack of passion and desire.

Kerr made adjustments at halftime, Stotts didn't. After the 3rd time in a row witnessing it you'd think Stotts would learn a lesson but he didn't.

In every game in this series there was a moment in the 3rd quarter where I thought "Why doesn't Stotts take Dame out now since he is struggling and maybe he can come back in the 4th and take over?" But no, Stotts has to play Dame the entire 3rd quarter no matter what is actually happening on the court. If you're correct and Dame had hit a wall don't you think it would be better to play him in shorter shifts? I know one thing for sure, I don't think it's a good idea to play him for a whole quarter at a time if that's the case. If you're going to play Dame a full quarter wouldn't you want it to be the 4th? Stotts always plays him the entire 1st and 3rd.

See I think if that were the case, we wouldnt have built a lead to begin with if we were satisfied.

I actually like Stotts, but he struggles to adjust and to keep up with other coaches. We saw it during the second and third round of the playoffs. He’s a good coach, but I’m unsure whether he could take a team to the next level. I’m not saying to get rid of him, but I’d have liked to see what we did next year, even for the first-half of the season, before giving him an extension.
