Would it be a bad strategy to sign as many guys as possible to one year deals?

For example, if we signed Aminu and Layman to one year deals then we'd have two more expiring contracts to add to trades once they become eligible.

This what happened when you sign Aminu. Then your going to have Aminu and Harkless your starters next year again so where the upgrade. Now Stotts start Zach and Aminu off the bench maybe you bring him back. But remember Aminu was starting in the playoffs but the last 2 series he was getting bench minutes. My thoughts are he not going be back due just that wasn't in down the stretch of games that has be weighing on his mind about his decision to sign here again. But Olshey might not sign him like he did Davis.

It's only a few months away. No way in hell Stotts makes any changes by that time. Same hand-off offense too

At 34% that would be a great shot if he's open.

My concerns are how he would mesh with our bigs. Can't see him starting at PF with Nurk or Enes.

Honestly, I want Collins starting. I think Randle would be a helluva back-up (and a very good starter...just not with us).

Randle ain't signing here to come off the bench.

I want Zach to start too.

Randle actually shot 36% on corner threes last season. But he only attempted like 30 the whole season. If he was in an offense that encouraged it, his percentages would probably go up. He’s a pretty decent free throw shooter, so he would most likely develop into a decent outside shooter with more reps.

Layman may take his qualifying offer.

Garrett Temple, Anthony Tolliver, Kyle O'Quinn, Darius Miller are some of the guys that could be signed with the minimum I believe and are worth looking at.

I could seriously see the Nuggets as a threat for Hood.

    Why Denver in particular?

We are talking about mins and role players. For sure those are nothing great, but Miller in my opinion is better than Seth overall and he can play with Dame and CJ. Tolliver can give shooting from the PF position and Temple some good perimeter D against guards.

I think they are loaded already. And they have to find minutes for Porter as well.

I believe two reasons they find matchup they like Hood against Murray. The 2nd Harkless and Aminu wasn't getting the job done.

Miller isn't even close to Seth's level... he's worse than Layman. Tolliver is aging and sucks at everything except for 3pt shooting (which he isnt particularly good at). Temple is a solid defender amd thays about it. None of them should ever see a playoff minute for us if were trying to take the next step.

. And somehow you only like the one that has never got over 18 mins in his life . Btw Curry's level is not good, he can just shoot and that's it. Ah and play D against only his brother.

Because KOQ is actually GOOD in those 18 minutes.

Darius Miller is a scrub. He doesnt have one good NBA skill. Currys shooting makes him better alone, but his defense, ball handling, and passing are also all better than Miller's. Hell, Curry's a better rebounder than Miller.

I disagree about defense and passing and both are around same level of scrub. Just Miller is a bit better fit due to his size. Role players with min contract both.
