I thought MCW was pretty solid for Orlando against Toronto, in game 1 he was even pretty good. I mean, we all know what we get from Evan, stupid bad midrange shots, turnovers, bad passes, overall negative player for the Blazers, why not give MCW a shot if we cant get a better in free Agency? I doubt he's worse than Turner
He averaged 7 pts on 37% shooting and 13% from 3, with a 3/2 ast/to ratio. He has shot < 40% from the field the past 4 seasons. He's trash. So is Evan -- i don't want either on our team
Let’s be real MCW is exactly the type of player Olshey loves to acquire. Lottery pick that hasn’t panned out. But not panning out sometimes has more to do with circumstance. Not saying MCW hasn’t had opportunities, but has he ever been around a winning (aka healthy) culture? He would also cost nothing.
Will he ever be able to shoot? This is the biggest problem. Since we know he may never be a consistent shooter... I'd rather get Ant some time.
So, Bleacher Report [insert usual laughs] proposed AD for CJ and Nurkic, plus picks. Not sure replacing Nurkic and CJ with AD gets you deeper in the playoffs. Curious of others thoughts. I guess the thought is you would pair Dame with AD and Collins and fill in the rest. I like Collins, but would almost rather pair Dame with AD and Nurkic and trade Collins. Just not sure Dame, AD, Collins, Harkless, Ant/Hood/? is enough. I guess that would be a heck of a perimeter defensive team.
Me too. I want them to clear time for Anfernee to go take his lumps so to speak. I don't want him to get hurt, or injured. Just to go out there and get experience, hopefully, he gets some rope to make mistakes without having his playing time cut dramatically.
This is my thought as well. Instead of rolling out guys that give you consistent but unspectacular production, spend some time developing the projects already on the team. Let Anfernee run the point like Turner did this season. If he becomes even rotation level it changes the complexion of this team entirely. Not only because it gives us a cheap roatation player, but he could become a trade chip in a deal to bring back someone that can make a difference.
If by picks, they mean NOP's picks coming back to us, then I'd listen. (And yes, I know that's not what they mean.) Otherwise, I say "fuck outta here!".
Anthony Davis thought that the camera makes him look 13+ feet tall in the Mobil Oil ad is really getting old. Maybe this is a good indication how slippery he is.
I'm slowly talking myself into this one. I love the way Nurk and Dame work together, but if there was a way to run a lineup of Dame, Hood, Harkless, AD and Collins, that lineup would be fun to watch on the defensive end.
If you take it seriously, it also means Hood is signing with us. Now, if only I could take it seriously!
