wow, he was certainly missed. Know Leonard has been a key for Toronto against GS but I think their bigs have protected the rim big time.

No doubt as he was our defensive anchor as well as great chemistry with Lillard, but it is what it is.

True, but it’s important to remember the year Nurk was having on both ends of the court when assessing how close the Blazers are to contending.

I love his attitude too. I thought PG13 was being a jerk when asked about Nurks injury and he took the opportunity to say he didnt like Nurk, but hey its important to have the guy on your team that other guys dont like, that might be Draymonds best quality!

We missed Nurkic immensely. At the time he got injured he was playing some of the best basketball of his career. This season he was the Blazers 3rd highest averaging scorer, as well as the teams best rebounder and shot blocker... all in one player. Any team in the league would be extremely hard pressed to replace a player in their roster, after an injury, that does what Nurkic does.

I still have Nurkic fever. Bet it's contagious. :evilfire:

Man I can't help but watch this video and cringe every time he lands on one leg...I'm never going to be able to watch him land without holding my breath :(

    Oh, Nurk!

I thought this thread would be about how I was off-line for a couple hours this morning.

    Disappointing.

Don’t worry about that injured leg. He’s got a metal rod in it. Nurk is Ti-ta-ni-um!
