Yes. KD seems bored and ready for something new. He's gone win or lose.

This team without KD is going to be a top 4 team in the West for another couple years though.

    Not if Klay also leaves.

It will be interesting for sure to see who is on the team in 30 days. Boogie? Klay? KD?

    Cousins is very likely gone

    Durant is probably gone

but neither played against Portland and the Warriors were still good enough to sweep. I know people are 'hoping' Klay leaves but I think the chances are slim to none. And that core of Curry-Klay-Green was good enough to win 73 games and a championship

the Warriors are probably going to be like the Spurs: people counting on them regressing each year for 4 or 5 years until they really do regress. The Spurs won a couple of championships after they had been declared done.

KD and Cousins are good as gone.
This is still a 55 win team without them. If Klay leaves, that changes everything.

Klay, Steph and Green is still a tremendous core, but the supporting cast is nowhere near as good as it was just a couple of years ago. The Warriors spent a ton on Durrant at the expense of bringing in lesser talent for the second unit. Livingston is likely going to retire. Iguodala isn't the same player he was a couple of years ago. With the rise of the Nuggets, Blazers, Rockets, and likely improvements to other teams in the West, including the Piss and Purple, I don't think you can pencil in 55 wins for a Warriors squad missing Durant and Boogie.

Too many unknowns. Klay will come back. They'd like KD back but who knows what he wants to do. They'll address the role players too. Not sure if Livingston and Igoudala will be back. Bogut wont, not that he means much. Cousins gone.

Dallas and Sacremento both have some really good young talent. Those are the teams I think may kick a couple "established" teams out of the playoffs next year.

Hard to say at this point? Their ownership group and the new arena , will set the table maybe, for them to reload with complimentary talent for their core. I do not believe Green, Curry and Thompson are on their down side, I thought that about some of the later Spurs teams and they proved me wrong.
I do think the west will be even tougher next year and 1-10 will feast on one another.
Looking forward to some summer league round ball and I hope our two youngsters play and excel.

I thought Green was on the decline this year, but he got motivated to get back in shape the second half of the season, and boy has he turned it around. Green playing at his current level keeps them extremely competitive, as long as there are a few healthy bodies around him.
