I heard you all the way to the Left Coast and you scared all the birds from NY to fly across the country to the Pacific and beyond.
10 Million birds SHITTING all at once as they flew overhead, leaving a foot of shit, the epitome of a shitstorm.
Local news called it a freak snowstorm...

Chance has no Chance, brings to mind "Catch-22" and a guy named-

Major Major Major, who was a Sargeant, until he was promoted to an Officer-
Now he's Major Major Major the Major Sir...

I will be surprised if Adam's catches on and remains a Yankee, I don't see it. But with the 3 Stooges/Goons running the show, even Pavano could make this roster.

    Brien McKeiver Taylor ????

Despite yanks offense it won’t matter if Boone keeps running out pitchers like chance Adams who gives up runs every inning and sucks in all the chances he’s had here. He’s a quadruple A pitcher

It is bad enough this organization cannot develop their young pitchers to be ready on the
major league level, but to trade for established front line pitching that stinks up the joint
just makes me wonder WTF is going on? Last year ‘Sonny Gray’, this year James Paxton......
coincidence......not on your life......GM has a talent for selecting pitching duds!

Oakland saves Yankees asses by beating Tampa 4-3. Texas stomping Pink Hatters 9-3 in the 7th.

Sad the Yanx keep relievers like Tarpley and others to mop up concede losses &/or blowouts.
Worse is calling on these hoping 4A surprise when they don't stand a Chance- pun intended...

Gardner hits a solo shot his 10th of the season with 109.5 exit velocity. I didn't think Gardner could hit a ball that hard.

Yanks have homered in 15 consecutive games, tying the 1994 team....

Paxton's issue is that he can never stay healthy. It's not comforting that you hear that the knee will probably bother him the rest of the year. Then he can't get out of the third inning against the Mets.

Boner stated he was "proud" of his team after that "come back win against Cleveland. Hmm. Yankees lose to Boston with Frazier being the clear cut fielding goat. Then they go to Toronto and get their asses kicked 2/3. In the Cleveland Series the blew leads in three consecutive games barely winning the final. They end up the 9 games in a split with NY National. Paxton failed to go three, and the bull pen poured JP-4 on game two. I wonder if any of the successful Yankee managers of the past would have been proud of a team with a 3-5 record against shit teams. The Yankees need another win by Oakland to maintain 1st place upon arrival in Chicago.

Still amazing how its always blasting this team when they lose yet ignoring the facts they are still in 1st place. Manager is on pace for another 100 win season. Would it be nice if the GM had internal pitching replacements available sure. Has he done a terrific job with young pitching, no not really. Remember everyone on here wanting to see Chance Adams...well ..now what...

Its not like the majors are flooded with pitching, hence the yankees being 3rd in team ERA.

Complain that they aren't getting pitchers... put your GM hat on...who are you calling in the middle of June to get a pitcher that is going to help this team? Could have had Keuchel....and hope he has a Verlander type of turn...

Last time Cashman went out to get a starter...it didnt work....Sonny just couldnt handle NY...i have a feeling Keuchel (especially with his attitude about NY) would have been able to handle it too.

I didnt like the Paxton trade as this guy hasnt pitched over 160 innings...if you take out his 2 complete games in his 26 starts last year his average outing was under 5 and a half innings per start.

In fairness...when you look at what was traded for the last two starters acquired...
Justice Sheffield has a 5.74 ERA in AAA
Erik Swanson has a major league ERA 9.19 in 6 starts this year 4.09 ERA in 4 AAA starts
James Kaprielian 4.5 ERA in single A ball
Jorge Mateo is having a good start in AAA 338 BA with 10HR and 40 RBI
Dustin Fowler is back in AAA but doing well...

Neither Fowler or Mateo would have surplanted Aaron Hicks or leap frogged over Fraizer but could have been pieces to move for another pitcher.

What pitcher is available right now? How much you willing to spend....cause you know other teams are going to gorge the Yankees on getting a starting pitcher.

Not sure I would want Madison Bumgarner as he is 29 and would want to extend his contract
Max Scherzer is getting 30 million a year...and he is 34 years old with 2 more years to go on his contract.....

Not sure there is any pitching help out there that is reasonable

Hell, I will pitch 4A box of Cracker Jack's and a new hat.
Even at an age beyond 60+, with 3 rotator cuff surgeries, and 3 each 2 1/2 inch screws in the primary shoulder. Even though I haven't been able to hit the broad side of a barn since the 2nd OP.

Being somewhat ambidextrous I could throw a season as a southpaw, since it's only had one RT Surgery/OP.... :biglaugh:

    Just busting yer chops Al.
We gotta keep one thing in focus beyond our differences of opinion. That is we are all Yankee fans first and foremost ...

    Or-
The Yanx could call on Nolan Ryan at age 72.
If Nolan could throw a No-No at age 46, he could surely throw 6 innings of shutout ball.
Then we have Koufax at age 84. Give him a shot of cortisone and let him loose.
I always heard Koufax could throw 90mph in his 60s at Spring Training.

Surely both could be somewhat effective.
Hell, someone needs to break Satchel Paige's record at age 60 ...
