    The Lakers had agreed to send Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, Ivica Zuba and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to the Pelicans along with two first round picks (plus taking on Soloman Hill's contract) at the deadline last season but New Orleans turned down that offer.

    They obviously didn’t know it would be the 4th pick at the time, but yes, that’s what was reported.

    But once again, neither party knew it would be the 4th.

    Ainge refused to discuss him according to some reports out right now. Even though, “everything is available this summer.”

    Can’t believe NO actually thought Ainge would mortgage the farm for a one year rental.

    I feel the worst for the pelicans. They literally had the Lakers offer the farm and rejected it thinking they could somehow offer more in the summer and that “they wouldn’t offer less.”

    I have no clue why people are praising this deal when the one they rejected is... wayyyyyy better
