Nothing against Samanic. I think he'd be a very good pick and is getting underrated, too. I just see so much upside in Bazley's overall game.

Sitting at JFK waiting to fly home and this kid sits down across from me. He was wearing some NBA Draft combined gear. Said he was good friends with our very owns Anfernee Simons. Wished him luck in the draft and said I might see him in Vegas this summer. Looked him up curious to see his story..... OUCH https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dewan_Hernandez
No, there can't be a huge bust at 25. Not even a bust. Maybe a disappointment, but only for those with unrealistic expectations.
Depends on how you define "bust." Crabbe was a 2nd rounder, but I still consider him a bust because he fell so short of the player he could have been.
Yes, because look at the Swanigan pick a couple years ago. I guess it matters somewhat if good players were picked after him.
To me, a "bust" clearly means a player who didn't meet expectations. That is different than a bad pick. Anthony Bennett was a bad pick. Andrew Wiggins is a bust (so far). I had no expectation for Swanigan. So for me he could not be a bust. If it was widely acknowledged that Swanigan was a reach at 25, then I would say he was a bad pick. But you can't play that game in hindsight. So I would ask, what were your expectations for Swanigan? Or was he a bad pick?
I actually liked Swanigan in college but that draft was super deep. So to me he didn't live up to expectations and he was a bad pick. I do like Skal a lot though, so at least Olshey saved it possibly.
Yet you don't think they would trade one of their picks? They absolutely would for a pick next year to kick the can down the road so to speak.
