    Are you serious? Lol

    Zion ain’t AD

    We would cook them

You’re always incredibly negative though so I shouldn’t be surprised

Cant believe New Orleans ended up basically just giving AD away, to get so little, to not give up Hill in it, Griffin should be fired like a month or two into his tenure...

This is the same guy who gave like a billion dollars to JR Smith, Shumpert and Tristan Kardashian.
Forum members, please forgive me for saying Griffin isn't stupid. :craphead:

I think he's Raptors or Clippers. Nothing I've read. Just mirroring what you said about personality. I think he knows fit. And I think that's where he fits best.

They killed Kong. And a girl I like once went there with another guy. I'll never forgive that city.

As I imagined this thing about acquiring an allstar level player was just BS to raise the offer. The Lakers gave out a million draft picks and a team like the Pelicans that cannot make playoffs even with AD should prioritize picks and young players over the CJs of this world. They also built the perfect tank with 0 spacing around Zion. No1 pick 2020 here they come.

It's not even big markets anymore, no one gives a crap about New York for years now.

It's all about Texas, California and Florida.
All the rest need to be extremely lucky in the draft, try to abuse the draft like Hinkie, make extreme gambles in the trade market and avoid being held hostage by the Khris Middletons of the world.

Listening to ESPN this morning makes me want to rip my ears off.

Of course, they are saying how great the Lakers are again. It's a big-market, high-profile franchise, and, presuming both stars stay healthy, they'll be a contender in a wide-open West. Fair. Not a given. But fair.

But now they are saying the return on this trade puts the Pelicans right back into the playoff hunt, too. It could, but ... huh? They traded for two guys who didn't live up to their draft status and a bench player from a team that missed the playoffs despite having one of the greatest players in the history of the league. And they missed the playoffs themselves. They really think Zion is going to be so special that he can turn them into a playoff team? What the heck?

The other thing they are saying is what the Pelicans can get back if they can flip that fourth pick. The problem with that is the Pels supposedly want a veteran, and I don't see any really good vets who are getting moved for the fourth pick in a draft that has two exceptional talents and about 40 guys who really aren't a lot different from each other. Some team would have to be really desperate or foolish, IMO, to trade a near all-star caliber player for that fourth pick.

I’d think long and hard about Jrue+4(Hunter) for CJ, I think it’d make sense for both teams.

I would do that deal, but I am taking Culver instead of Hunter. I think Culver is the surest thing to a star in this draft after Zion and Ja. He's a two-way dominating 3, a skinnier Kawhi if he pans out.

Why CJ is good, its clear the pelicans plan is to suck and keep getting high picks, if they trade Jrue itll be for more picks.

I think Culver has Ben McLemore bust potential. He’s definitely a 2 not a 3.

Hunter on the other hand is arguably the best two way player in the draft and doesn’t have any huge flaw in his game, I think he has Kawhi potential.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that. I don't think Hunter is a good enough athlete and I just don't see him as a closer. I think Culver's already as good as him, a better defender and with much upside Hunter no longer has. But it's subjective.
