    I don’t think they want him. They need a big but one that can defend. Cleveland probably want them to take him to create cap space to absorb bad deals in the future.

    It's such bad planning by CLE. They knew they had to rebuild after LBJ left, but instead threw him a massive immovable contract. Now they have to give up a high lottery pick to dump it just 11 months later.

    He should go to LAL. God that would be a sick trio. Especially if they get him on like a 4/60 and have some left over for a Rubio type PG. Good thing Rob Pelinka is clueless.

    The Cavs trading away from Coby White at #5 is stupid, but a very Cavs move (hello Anthony Bennett). They need shooting badly and are going to pickup a couple role players instead if they do a deal for 10 & 17.

    That's WAY too high a cost to move up a few places in a weak draft. (And by cost I mean what we take on, not what we give up.)

    I like the IDEA of Wiggins, too. Shame the actual Wiggins is such a disappointment.

    Weve seen it happen before a team with a couple stars, one star leaves the team instead of realizing oh we need to rebuild, throws money at the other guy. -Not that I think Love is a star, but Cleveland probably did. I think when a guy leaves, there is a weird, "we have to overpay the next best player so we have someone" mentality that comes out.

    They have similar contracts right now...

    Love = $120.4M / 4yr
    Wiggins = $121.2M / 4yr

    Love is a much better player, but is older, slower, and injured more frequently.
    Wiggins still has some 'potential' upside, but is unlikely to ever reach it due to his approach to the game.

    Neither option is really that appealing to me.

    He was on the Jump with Richard Jefferson just like a month ago and RJ was laughing at the notion of him opting out of 25 mil. Has to be for a longer deal.

    Actually I can see Horford's case for a 3 or 4 year deal. Can't believe Harrison Barnes though.

    Horford opts out, Kyrie ghosting then, Morris likely gone... the Celtics should just give the keys to Tatum, Brown, and Rozier.

    They aren’t gonna get much for him and they better expect to attach picks.

    They can't possible move Paul with that contract! This offseason is going great for us! The Warriors are dead because of injuries, Houston's a mess because of personalities.....

    Like I said before, everyone wants paid, but there's not enough money for everyone. Shrewd teams are going to get some unbelievable bargains by the time the smoke clears.
