Atlanta has SIX picks in this year's draft. Check out his nbadraft.net comparison: https://www.nbadraft.net/players/romeo-langford
HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH GOOGLE ARN TELLEM AND TELL ME THAT AGAIN LOL You can GOOGLE MANY STORIES of “SUPER AGENTS” making POWER PLAYS to get their players where they wanna go. Hahahahaha The story of Arn Tellem and Kobe ain’t a rare one. It’s very public. You can Google MANY stories of them “leaking info” as well!! This is straight laughable that you can’t see the difference between how Rich Paul is treated and pretty much every other agent who has leveraged power plays. Might not be race... Might be because it’s LBJ’s boy. But if you really don’t know of agents being public with their clients wishes... Google away *Refusing to workout for teams, that’s another HUGE one!
Kiss my ass.. I don't give a fuck what you or anyone on this forum thinks about me. Remember that... "I'm going to tell it like it is. I hope you can take it like it is." - Malcolm X So many in here can't.
ANYWAYS BACK ON TOPIC If Portland keeps the pick two guys stand out to me Bazley Okpala Call it a gut feeling, but both have blazers written all over them. Bazley isn’t too different from the “risk” Olshey took last year with Simons. Okpalas interview with the media after his blazers workout seemed...right. Can’t explain it much better, but it felt similar to Simons last year. Personally I would take either, but prefer Bazley. There are a couple other guys in my cluster but I don’t get the feeling they’re gonna be headed to Portland (Thybulle, Samanic for example)
In the same boat on KZ and Bazley -- i dig both of them and get Blazer vibes from them. Rich Paul is the only reason I put KZ above Bazley.
After finally getting around to reading draft related items, I have to say.... I REALLY miss draftexpress. Damn you, ESPN for putting that behind a paywall
This has probably been discussed but I’m too lazy to scroll through 60 pages, but with Nurkic’ injury, wouldn’t it make some sense to look at some of this years bigs? Fernando and Bitadze could both potentially be there at 25, although Bitadze is less likely. I could rock with either though.
I wouldn’t worry about Rich Paul. Olshey has a relationship with Lebron dating back to before he was even in the NBA. And who knows what the league will look like when any of it would matter anyway.
CBS Sports mock draft has Kevin Porter Jr. going to OKC ... and said this about it ... "Perhaps the work ethic and professionalism of fellow Southern California products Russell Westbrook and Paul George, plus the lack of distractions in a place like Oklahoma City, could bring out the best in this young man." Okaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/...risk-prospect-with-dukes-cam-reddish-at-no-5/
Lolol, Porters best fit culturally would be a place like Portland or San Antonio, organizations with little to no drama. I do like him as a player, but I just can’t see Olshey ever taking him.
Southern Cal wing. Might be the best shot creator in this draft. Went to college as one of the most hyped freshmen in the country. I think of him as a more explosive Tyreke Evans, with the makings of a really good midrange game. Anyway, I think he got hurt to start off at USC, came back and was suspended for disciplinary reasons.
If we had, say, the 5th pick, I'd say this would be a good point. But at 25, and with where we're sitting both with our current roster and in the WC pecking order... if we draft Bazely and 5 years later it turns out he's good enough to demand a trade, I'm going to call that a MAJOR win. The 25th pick could easily be out of the league before his contract is up, I wouldn't worry about who his agent is that late in the draft...
I wonder if Hubie will call him Terry Porter Jr, to bring it full circle If you don't get that reference, don't ever argue with me in the forum
