I don't know how many times I have said that all it takes is a little luck late in the draft and you suddenly fill your position of need. Did we finally get lucky? Is Little our Draymond. Every year there are players who fall or are overlooked. Kuzma would have been a good get two years ago at SF. Hopefully this makes up for it.
I don't care too much about physique... I do believe in the effect of NBA training though. If he's a hard working dude then he will look different after a few months of NBA coaching and development. When does summer league start for us?
July 5th - 15th. I'm keeping the OP in the summer league thread updated, so you can always check there. Blazers should start practice 5 or so days before that. As for him being a hard worker, he was doing 2-a-days in the weight room, and 2-a-days in "skill work". 4.2 GPA. Basically, he's an animal.
Nah. MM was instantly happy about this pick. I knew it was a good pick when I saw no sarcastic reactions from the guy.
So happy with this pick. Fell asleep right after as I could no longer fight my pain meds. Woke up later to see the Blazers signed Hoard to a two way. We didn't move Turner, but it was a good draft.
Look at it like this: We moved up to the 12th pick in the draft and drafted a super-athlete in a positional need, and all it cost us was keeping Turner for another year
Your floor is Crash? Gerald Wallace had an 18 year career, was an All Star and All D 1st team member. Mix in some reality... how about Rondae Hollis-Jefferson or Michael Kidd-Gilchrist? I'm hoping for the best as always, but not everyone who enters the league without a consistent J develops one. STOMP
Crash in today’s era is a better (can dribble) Aminu imo. Which is still a good player but not an all-star. Crash was a fun player but he made his name in the east on a bad team. Little has a better shot too.
With a way better shot/mechanics. I think Little has potential to be a great 3&D guy and possibly more if he adds some more on ball skills.
