    Portland could trade Bazemore by himself before then. Is Baze more attractive around the league than ET was? I'd assume so....

    Only $600k in salary. Not a big enough difference to make a dent.

    Yeah it needs to be closer to this:

    Dame/Vet
    CJ/Baze/Simons/ Trent
    Baze/Hark/Nas
    Collins/Skal /Jake
    Kanter/ ML/ *Nurk

    Baze can get minutes at SG and SF so I would not worry about either unless you can get a star player at SF.
    But I would like to see a vet PG to round out the back court.

    As for the bigs, Kanter is very much needed. A center until Nurk gets back is priority #1.

    A center in priority #1. If Kanter/Chief/Hood/Curry all leave and Boogie has to take another 1 year prove it deal how do people feel about that? He and Nurk share an agent right? Supposedly we were interested last off-season and I don’t see him getting a multi year offer after back to back injuries.

    He never is happy about losing a teammate and friend. That's what I like about him. He embraces them all.
    But he still understands the business side of it.

    At the same time maybe some should not trash ET on the way out??
