    i remember in the rugby league down here, i think they had a one per team contract called a franchise player that they could basically pay them whatever and it didnt count against their cap.

    might not have been league, but sounds like a pretty good idea right about now....

    The way I expect the cap to go up, by the end of the contract we're probably going to feel we got a bargain.

    One other thing I have to give Dame credit for beyond his on-court performance and his participation in our community....

    I thought we’d lose Hood, Kanter, and Curry. Figured we’d lose Aminu or overpay to keep though I don’t think we needed to keep him....

    I have no doubt Hood stayed in large part due to the team and culture that Dame has guided onto our team.
