Hassan was benched last year in Miami and I didn’t hear any real public cries. Dame will keep him in check. Plus like you said, he’s playing for a new contract. And attitude is going to be a big question he’ll have to answer to. Would be idiotic to add wood to that fire.
Then Portland has a really good backup and maybe they’ll finally win a fucking championship while I’m alive.
Cracks me up anytime you see somebody on tv say something like, "Y'all messed up. You haven't seen the last of me! This is just the beginning!" because that's usually the last time you see that person.
I'm looking WAY too far ahead, but I wonder what the chances of bringing back Enes next year? He has a player option with Boston, it's Whiteside's last year on his deal. Despite Kanter's frustration about not being given much time, my guess is he still would have preferred to be here (I don't think we offered as much money as Boston). Bottom line, you could have Whiteside and Kanter on the same active roster, but not Nurkic, Whiteside and Kanter. All three would be resentful, especially with two playing for new contracts.
It's oddly tough to see what happened there. Like he put his forearm in Joel's lower back and when Embiid put his elbow back it whiplashed Whiteside's hand into his own face? The announcers didn't seem to have a firm grasp on it, either.
We may not attract many big time FA's but we have become the Rejuvenation Club for bigs? If Whiteside comes hoping, to flash his field, we are in for a treat!
Denver fans after Nurk was traded: He is not a good teammate. Knicks fans after we sign Kanter: He can’t play defense and lazy. Heat fans after Whiteside was traded: He is a lazy bum X- Factor here is that they don’t have Dame as their leader. Whiteside will help this team
Next thing you know, HCP will be posting You Tube videos and declaring himself as more knowledgeable that any one else in the forum.
