It was a matter of too many similar players. Jake showed some potential, but he was also inconsistent as later in the season he couldn't hit the ocean with a shot.. We will be fine.
wha... what if olshey is playing the long game, expecting kawhi to sign a 1 and 1 and making room for him next year... olshey you brilliant, crazy bastard
Talent wise definitely, but we have to do it on the floor still, but I like what Olshey has done to fill in the blanks and build this roster.
Don’t worry about it, he’ll never play for the blazers. But Minnesota couldn’t technically send back nothing.
Why do you always have to stir the pot??? His original post was funny, but I guess that flew over your head....
Olshey has done a nice job for this year, but his moves all say his long game is to add another All Star for next season.
Ohhhhh, the guy is from Montenegro. Nevermind then! good deal lol Look at that stroke from outside and the soft touch inside. Shades of Nurkic' passes too. Edit: Nevermind 2.0. The guy is already 27 lol
I saw the thread title and felt nothing, then read the thread and felt nothing. Seems I'm not emotionally attached to Jake.
Olshey not done yet, he is setting himself up for a big name trade before the trade deadline. He got a lot of 1 year expiration contract to give away.
Not going to lie: I really like Jake. He had inconsistencies, but honestly had a very rapid growth rate for someone drafted so low. When he was drafted, he looked like a SF version of Nolan Smith. Honestly, he picked up his game significantly but hit a wall at some point last season, which is understandable given the fact that it was his first real season getting rotation minutes. I wish the best of luck to him in Minnesota
