I'm liking what I've seen from both Daum and Hoard. Let's see how they do in summer league.

If the 4th quarter is Dame time, what part of the game would be Daum time?

My recollection is that he played well for them.
The NBA really hates short dudes.

I’d like to steal another ex King. Mason also fits what Olshey likes in players. High character guy, tough minded, played four years in college, probably has a chip on his shoulder. I’d give him a look although he is undersized.

Career 30% from 3. If you're going to be short, you've got to shoot it.

my hunch is that the reason JaMychal Green is un-signed is that the Clippers are holding off because his cap-hold is less than what they will re-sign him for. I haven't heard a thing about him talking to any other teams

    * If the decision is a backup C, then Noah is my favorite. Javale McGee and Greg Monroe could be alternates but Noah can do more than either and is a good defender as well

    * the PF list is pretty thin on desirable (and realistic) candidates. Marcus Morris may not be realistic. Jonas Jerebko is too much like Tolliver. Kenneth Faried would bring energy and physicallity, but I'd question his mesh with Whiteside. Cheick Diallo is a surprisingly good rebounder, at least statistically, and his youth leave the possibility of upside. I just don't know much about him though

    * if the Blazers need a PG, there is Rondo, Devin Harris, Bayless, and Quinn Cook

a problem is I don't know how many of these guys are waiting on Kawhi

He’s a lot better shooter than his percentages indicate. It was one of his strengths coming into the league. Wouldn’t put too much stock in his production in sporadic minutes. Actually now that I think about it he’ll probably just go to the Warriors and replace Cook.

...I really dislike Chriss, he is such a punk ass bad sport! Watched him play in college and knew immediately he does not have the right attitude and so far his NBA career has proven this. Bender is such a better fit with this iteration of the Blazers team!
