Avery Bradley Waived By Grizzlies Jul 5, 2019 9:21 PM The Memphis Grizzlies waived Avery Bradley, league sources told David Aldridge of The Athletic. Bradley's contract would have been guaranteed for $12.96 million if they had not made the move before July 8th. The two sides agreed to move the guarantee date of his contract back from July 3rd. The Grizzlies will still owe Bradley $2 million next season. The move comes on the heels of the Grizzlies trading C.J. Miles to the Wizards for Dwight Howard, which saved the Grizzlies $3.1 million in cap space.
This is why I was interested in letting Jake go from day 1. With all of the FAs this offseason, I knew some quality players would fall through the cracks. Lillard has described him as the best defender in the West.
Of course, if we did trade for Iguodala, he'd be a very nice backup PG. (I can see why some people might see this as a return to Evan Turner, but ET never won finals MVP.)
I wouldn't be shocked if the Blazers kicked the tires on Lin. To me, it's meh. But there were rumors around the trade deadline that we were looking to acquire him, and Olshey seems to have his favorites and eventually keeps coming back around to them.
maybe already in portland? jeremy pargo is only 33 and was last seen in a euroleague uniform for one of the Israeli teams in the spring.(Maccabi?) i know, not likely.
Did the league give the Flakers an exception to maintain a 20 player roster? It honestly wouldn't surprise me
