Man, the instant conclusions some of you guys jump to are beyond belief. I may have to dig up some of the comments on last summer to find the crap that was said about Simons. Little is RAW and definitely needs the year of practice that Simons got, but it's way too early to draw any conclusions about what he's going to be when he gets some more experience.

No, I’d just hate to see him get injured in a glorified pick up game.

It’s pretty common for teams to shut down guys the second week of summer league.

There seems to be a bunch of guys skipping out on SL with minor injuries. I think some GMs think that the fringe players view the draftees like potential scalps.

That bounce. Nice pass by Trent.

    Hezonja basically played PG.

With him, CJ, Anf, and Hood we will be fine setting up the offense when Dame sits.

I'm far more concerned with defense, we could be very bad! Our offense will be somewhere between great and elite.

Trent seems pretty reliable just catching and shooting. Off the dribble is a different story. It usually looks forced.

I wouldn't have a problem with giving Dev Robinson that other two-way deal. There's some things to like about his game and upside. Good length, good hops, aggressive.

Simons PG skills is actually encouraging to me. The only thing giving him trouble is that he needs to become a tighter and better ball handler. To me, he has the quickness and feel for it. He sets up passes well already, and makes good decisions on where to go. His ball handling isn't quite up to par, but that's it, and it's something he can easily work on.

Little needs to get his elbow out a little bit more on his shot. He has Vonleh-itis. His elbow is so tucked in that's it's too tense to extend upward, so his shot is extremely flat. This has been a point of emphasis for Drew Hanlan with some of his guys (notably Bamba). Little needs to work out with him.

Yup. Handle gets a little too high and far away from his body at times.

Left still needs some work too.

Can't believe Demetrius Jackson used to be on a guaranteed deal with the Celtics.

    He's been brutal.

Hoard is smooth. I feel like he's a moldable wing. Seems to me like he can be a bit of a ball handler.

I was a fan before his season at Wake.

Not sure he's an NBA player, but he's fine on a two-way.
