Wheels...radio...always listened to sports on radio since the 50s....if I can watch a game on ABC I'll dust off the TV and watch it but I'm a radio guy...like to do other stuff while listening to a ball game.
I have not lived in Portland since 1998. Thank god for NBA League Pass. I have not missed more than few games on TV (or my lap top) in years. Often it is after the game is over but regardless I tape them all. I usually see 1 game a year at Moda and 1 game at Staples.
Go to a few games per season and watch most of the rest on TV. I don't consider the TV experience to being "relegated" to it. With a big screen 4K Smart TV, the advantage of being able to rewind and look at any play I want, plus being able to have a beer and a snack that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, not having to pay 20 bucks for parking and being able to hit the bathroom anytime I want without a lineup, not to mention not risking bumping into any of the riff raff who hang out around here, in most ways it's a superior experience.
I watch probably around 80% of the games, the games I miss are because of work. I usually attend a game a season.
I work swing shift, but I am able to watch games while at work, which is a nice perk. I end up missing huge chunks of games though. I love watching the 10 minute highlight videos that come out after the games. I could probably get to a handful of games a year if I wanted to, but I'm so used to watching on TV, or a stream that I usually just stick to that.
Anyone who pays $20 for parking is doing it wrong. SOOOO many places where you can park for free. I tell people if they come with me to any event. We're not paying for parking. Call me cheap, I call it practical.
Living in Colorado up until January I haven't missed a Blazer game on League Pass in over a decade. Even caught the ending of 2 Blazers games as I moved to Springfield. Went to my 1st game at Moda in April(AMAZING), and once I move to PDX next year plan to attend as many Live as possible (Funds of course). Blazers Freak Forever.
Whenever I go to a game and drive in I park in the garage by the rose garden $20 really isnt that much.
I go to as many games as I can and watch the rest on tv. I don't miss games. I see all 82 every season.
